Xiang Garden Chinese Restaurant

Cleanest chinese restaurant I've ever been to not in a major city and I've been to a ton. The tables are clean, not sticky!!!! That alone really deserves 5 stars. Admittedly we went when there weren't any people so the service was excellent. As with all places I'm sure that changes if it gets super busy, but I'm here to share what I experienced so it's a big 5 stars for service from me. I have no idea what some people are saying regarding value. We ordered 5 rice/noodle dishes (forgot to take a photo of the 5th) and a salt and pepper shrimp along with some drinks and it barely crossed the $100 mark. Not sure what people expect but this is great value. Food was fresh, tasty but a little on the salty side for some dishes. Salt and pepper prawns were awesome. Kids fought over the last ones.

Purchased takeaway. Large order. Pre ordered day before and advised would collect at certain time. They msged and advised order ready. Great service and good food

The food here is outstanding! You'll struggle to find better tasting Chinese anywhere. The Chicken n sweet corn soup is the best we've had anywhere and Im a big fan of the Beef n Black Bean from here. Love the fact that food this good, is in our local area. Highly recommend.

Early dinner, delicious food, great service. The Szechuan chicken more chili based than pepper. But everything wonderful.

Just moved into the local area and this restaurant has yummy food. My son has food allergies and they are so friendly and understanding which most places dont really go out of there way or make it seem like a hassle. I met the lady owner and she is a beautiful lady who is very warm and friendly. Thanks for the beautiful meal tonight xx

My family, my nieghbour and I celebrated my birthday there. It was my first visit and dine in experience. Every 4of us ordered different food and shared a huge plate of fried rice. All our food was of fresh and amazing quality. The only down side was the large parties volume along to our right. Which made it hard for my friendly nieghbour and I to hear alot of our converation. Maybe some soft music like smooth listening 101.5fm music would make large groups a little quieter.
So everyone would speak a little quieter.
My nieghbour wears 2hearing aids and I am totally deaf in my right ear, so the group of about 15were very loud and I missed most of our conversation due to them talking over each other. It is BYO Wine only and other alcholic beverages were quite expensive to purchase on premisses. But AMAZING FOOD WAS FRESH AND NICE AND HOT WHEN SERVED. VERY GOOD QUALITY AND HUGE VARIETY ON MENU SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE,(including vegan and vegitarians)
Food like fried rice or battered food etc all cooked in peanut oil or vegetable or upon request for peanut allergies. Can simply tailor to make to your specific needs.
Family ran and very pleasant staff.well dressed,clean and groomed staff.
Apart from other loud table. I had a great night for my birthday. As food was not oily, we came away well fed but not sitting heavy in stomach, like oily can do.

Have been about 5 times and every time the food has been fantastic , yes place is a little dated , but I’d rather have great food than eat in a palace !!!!!! Staff are all lovely too .

I think the bad review is rubbish, food was fresh and delicious and prices very reasonable. They even did a special request dish for me. I wholly recommend this restaurant!

No matter when i go in the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Food is always hot and fresh! I've never had a bad experience.

What a great place to dine. Best Chinese restaurant North of the city. Great service with a smile. Loved the quail and prawns.

I had chicken satay sticks followed by the best Lemon chicken in a long time the chicken was moist and the sauce wasnt too sweet.I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone. I'll be back.😊
