Mungabareena Reserve

A beautiful spot to enjoy a nice nature walk or picnic. Has all the facilities you need - benches, bins, very clean public toilets and a gorgeous view. Dogs welcome too so long as they are on a leash. My two dogs had a great time exploring the reserve and finding all the sniffs :) Mungabareena is such a peaceful place - the only sounds when we were there were the tweeting of birds and the gurgling of the river. Pure bliss. Highly recommend to anyone in the region or visiting - go experience the true beauty of nature and the mighty Murray River.

Its generally excellent and clean, plenty of bins.
During the days and afternoon it's nice and quiet with plenty of space. Could use a few more tables and chairs maybe a large central area undercover for families.

I went for a run around this reserve and got swooped by a magpie the whole way around, and picnicking locals told me you need to watch out for them for a couple months because they're getting territorial.
