Red Hill Hotel

Love this pub, so proud to be able to bring guests here. Veg quesadillas were delicious and even the side salad was just perfect - so tasty! Also the local non-alcoholic apple cider is a winner for those days when you want a refreshing sparkling drink without the headache :)

Been to the Red Hill Hotel a few times now and will return again. I had the chicken parma with some curried chips on the side - it was first class. Great atmosphere but can be a little loud if you have a large table next door. It didn't bother us but something to be aware of, but hey its an old pub with timber floors. Good menu with a reasonable selection of wines and beer. For those more inclined to sit outdoors then a beer garden is provided as well as seats out front. Parking is plentiful.

This place is AMAZING! Wonderful atmosphere, great selection of both bar and restaurant food, and smashing music to boot! The chicken donug was an absolute REVELATION! We would definitely come back here for a pint, or food, or both! Two very happy customers right here 💪💪

Absolutely outstanding food, vibes and service. Fresh, seasonal ingredients and new takes on pub classics. Worth a trip from Melbourne for the meal alone.

The team at Ratbag (in residence as cooks) really nailed a proper Viennese Schnitzel with warm potato salad, and a fabulous fish soup. Really great food. And a good stout from Love Shack. Good on ya Red Hill and Ratbag.

Amazing food (the slow cooked lamb and honeyed brussel sprouts were a stand out), drinks and friendly fast service. My new favourite restaurant in the Castlemaine region, will be sure to visit again.

Had a great time at this lovely country pub. The new owners have done wonders! Great decor, Super cold beer and great service with a smile. For dinner I had the falafel plate loaded w salads and house made pita a dips, with a lovely glass of falanghina. Simple everchanging menu and great local wine list. We sat under the grapevines out the front, they also have a great beer garden and a free pool table! The place was humming with a great vibe. We will be back for sure🤩🥂

Seriously delish dinner here tonight. I can never go past a pub fish&chips & the ones at the RHH do not disappoint. There was a bit of dill in the batter that took the fish to the next level, the chips were crunchy & yum, the yoghurt tartare was so good, & generously portioned so there was enough to dip the chippies in 🥰👍 The 'side' salad was fab & really prettily presented: so good it could've been a dish on it's own. Thanks guys- we had a great night in your beautifully atmospheric establishment. You're doing a great job ❤

So so so good. So welcoming, Best selections of beers and other things to drink. Great food, service. Will go as often as we can !

Nice place for eat in. A lot of different beers. Very friendly staff.
