Sapporo Japanese Restaurant

The place looked really cool and felt really modern. The menus where very easy to understand and were really nice not dirty or felt old and sticky.The pictures of the food really help deciding what to eat as I am not really full bottle on what each of the dishes look like. The food was amzing can fault it! The service wasn't slow but I think they need one more waiter or waitress on to just help out with cleaning tables and taking used plates if customers have had starter meals.

This is by far the best Japanese restaurant in the eastern suburbs We have been eating there both dining in & take away for well over a decade & have never had a bad meal. Service is great & the owners are amazing

The sushi and sashimi is simply amazing!! The fish is very fresh and other dish is delicious as well. The staff is really helpful.

We had the most delightful meal last night - friendly staff, delicious dishes, timely delivery to the table - what more could you ask for? We chose the mid-range banquet because looking at the menu we just wanted to try everything! The teppanyaki steak was cooked to perfection, the presentation of the tempura was so lovely with an edible fan that was too pretty to eat and the green tea ice cream at the end was such a perfect way to finish the meal. I love to eat good food and want to support local business. It’s a win-win all round. It was so easy to book on-line too - will definitely be going back again.

After many years of passing by this restaurant, we've only just recently visited Sapporo for the first time. I now know why this restaurant always looks to be fully patronised: It's the great food, cold beer, good staff and atmosphere that make this a delightful, unexpected find. We've booked to go again next week with our friends who, I'm sure will be equally delighted as we are. Congratulations on a great restaurant.

Food was great, as usual. Just a little slower than normal, but it was very busy.

This is a consistently good Japanese restaurant in a suburban area. It's not a flashy place but it's always clean, the staff are incredibly friendly and the food is fresh and tasty. The sushi is excellent; our family also loves the wafu steak.

Love the food there and price so resonable

It's been a my first visit by chance. The Bento what I ordered was pretty high quality overall. Chicken skewer for entree was really nice, fresh texture and sauce would be great as well.
I never know there was good Japanese eatery near my house. I'd like to visit sometimes whenever I wanna eat some decent Japanese foods.

The food was great 👍, some of the best Japanese places I have been to. Great presentation. It was a little slow service but that’s just like any busy restaurant. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to eat authentic Japanese cuisine.

Really happy with the quality and quantity of the food. We had the Chiba banquet to celebrate Father's Day and it was a winner! Thank you Sapporo for making our night so special. We can't wait until restrictions are lifted and we can finally dine-in. 🤗

Supreme food, always totally fresh, good value, lovely hosts. We have been frequent customers for about 12 years esp for Friday office lunches and have taken many guests and referred many friends and associates. Highly recommend.

My favourite Japanese place in the Mitcham area! Wonderful food, particularly the sashmi, which is always fresh and excellent quality. The staff are so friendly, love that it's BYO and very reasonably priced. I've tried other Japanese places nearby and none of them stack up to how much I enjoy Sapporo.

Busy for a Wednesday night. Staff were quick and polite. Food was fresh and came out reasonably quickly. Food was well presented, fairly standard affair for Japanese food. Price was on the higher side of average. Would eat here again.

Amazing! Service was awesome (there were 20+ of us, none of the servers seemed annoyed, we all paid separately). COME FOR THE LUNCH SPECIAL!

The lunch special consists of rice, salad, soup (seaweed or miso) and either 2 meats and 3 meats. I opted for the 3 meat option, Wow were the portions huge. All the meat was fresh and well marinated, and the kitchen managed to have all our different meat dishes coming out at the same time.

My Partner and I have been coming here for years now. Still our all time favorite Japanese restaurant. Very friendly owners, polite and attentive staff and best of all - fresh and beautiful Japanese food. You won't be disappointed.
