I had such an amazing experience here! Outstanding customer service. After buying a new part for my PC they were able to find out something had not been working correctly with my PC and didn't charge me any extra. The rep was so nice and thorough with my questions and purchases. I would recommend this place to everyone!! Thank you!!

Came here on Black Friday 2023 to see if I could get some good deals on my PC parts (I also sourced some from CentreCom on the same day).

Both places had great prices and helpful staff, but I gotta say, MSY really stood out on the "helpful" part. The man helping me was so determined to give me useful and practical advice, that one of the parts he recommended me wasn't even in his stock, and encouraged me to find it at a competitor's store instead of getting a lesser quality product that was currently in his stock.

He had asked me about how I will be using this PC and prioritised parts accordingly, e.g. the motherboard I initially had on my list turned out to have overclocking features. He picked up on that and confirmed that I didn't need that feature, and promptly swapped it out for the same motherboard without the overclocking and at a cheaper price.

My friend who tagged along also took the opportunity to ask for advice (this time about routers and mesh wifi), and the man patiently explained the technicalities and distinguished the necessary products from the unnecessary for his particular environment.

Thankyou for the brilliant service and for putting your customers first! Will be back again in the future - by then hopefully I won't be demanding so much time!

Just went in to ask about what I thought was an SSD issue, Ryan was super helpful and went way out of his way to help me resolve it. Turns out it was something completely different and he explained everything he was doing. Very thorough debugging and could not be happier. Have left with more knowledge and a fixed PC!

Went on a Sat noon, very quiet and guy serving was very pleasant to deal with, quite chatty. MSY usually have the best prices, Mitcham store is a bit small (vs Clayton) but fine for getting PC parts 👌

Good, but know what you want before you get there.

I have purchased parts to build my last two computers from this store. They are always helpful and easy to deal with.

Most recently, when my computer developed a problem, they talked me out of foolishly spending money on random parts to fix it and instead recommended a local computer repair business that was able to diagnose my problem within minutes.

This ended up saving me a lot of money and I was able to return and buy the correct parts.

Great service and Very trustworthy. I'll certainly be back!

These guys are amazing! Really hard time to get the right parts for a good gaming PC within budget but they sorted it out for a great price! Helpful with identifying parts conflicts, great cable management, 10/10 all around

Went there to buy a replacement motherboard 2 years later and instead the guy went out of his way to look up the original receipt and send it off for a free replacement under the manufacturer warranty for me instead of charging me for a new one. They then called for me to pick up the replacement in store a couple weeks later. Great service. Will recommend.

The inside of the store is drab and basic, just to get the negatives out the way. But you get low prices in return and good service. I am not much on looks, and more on delivery, price and service. Hence the 5 stars.
They unknowingly sold me UK keyboard instead of a US model. Made no fuss in the return (I needed to return in original packing and unused condition).
Other times they have provided useful advice for purchases.
Nice to have a quality discount computer store that is local.

Best place to buy computer parts in the eastern suburbs. It is better if you already know what you want to buy before you go as there is often a long line on busy days. But they never seem to rush customers and I've found them very helpful. I am a computer technician and go there frequently. The manager and staff had changed over the years but they are still good.

Staff there helped me to choose a Windows laptop as I have been a Mac user for the past 10+ years. After 3 weeks of testing and trying, I could not get the laptop to perform as good as my intention described on the day of purchase. I rang the place and they were happy for me to return (the machine is still in perfect condition with the packaging boxes, which they had to inspect - its fair) and purchase a new laptop that I have now done my research on what I need. No fuss. Happy customer.
