Did a fantastic job of looking after us all as a fairly large group. Most friendly and accommodating. A nice atmosphere and location. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Thanks again.

Service. Jane was a the dream sever every customer dreams of receiving. She was punctual, well mannered and very well received. If I was her manager I would give this woman a raise. Over all lovely service and amazing time.

Last night I had without a doubt the most delicious meal. The Barramundi was cooked to perfection and the presentation was perfect. Great friendly service and super atmosphere 👌 I'll certainly be back!! Well done.

Got a family bistro meal on the way home, after a little holiday on PI. Better food than your normal bistro, nice atmosphere, great views. All the breads taste fresh baked, food came out quick. Would come again!

Had dinner at the Westernport Hotel. Good variety of food, and a few vegan options. The Cauliflower steak was very tasty, although a little too salty. The service staff were very attentive too. You order food and drinks from the counters, but they serve it to you. The place is bright and spacious, with a pleasant ambience. Did not stay in the rooms.

I absolutely love The Westernport Hotel. The staff are truly wonderful, especially the bar staff and in particular Amaya, Shelby & Josh who go above and beyond their bar duties. They are all very efficient courteous, polite, friendly and very helpful. I met someone there whom I have been trying to get in touch with again, and the staff have very kindly assisted me to pass on a message to this person from me when they return there again.
I have been there many times in the past seven weeks to various gigs. By myself x 3 times, with my mother twice and my sister once and they both loved it too. Meals are great, red wine is great, the musicians have all been great and some have been brilliant. The atmosphere is relaxed with a positive energy, very typical of a happy warm & cozy country pub. There is a dance floor, a nice warm fire and plenty of tables to dine inside the bistro that has a range if meals and a specials board. There are two pool tables, and even a play room for kids, so it is family friendly too. It is also dog friendly too!

I have not stayed in the accomodation yet, as they were booked out, but I plan to at some future date.

My only suggestion's for improvement would be for Guinness on tap, more choice of seafood dishes, a bigger plate of potato wedges with a seperate serve of sour cream and a serve of chilli sauce and much less salt in the soups as we can easily add salt to the food if we want it.

Thank you to The Westernport Hotel management and staff for providing us with such a great place to go out and have fun, and sourcing such great musicians! Just wishing I did not live an hour's drive away from you!

We came for a family dinner with another family during peak summer period. We were able to easily book online and the food and service were fantastic. The oysters absolutely delicious - both natural and Kilpatrick. All of the staff were warm, welcoming, efficient and thoughtful with lots of smiles. Food and drinks were great value. Some of the adults stayed a little longer to enjoy the great live music and cocktails. Such a brilliant venue in the heart of Sam remo! We’ll definitely be back for the great customer service, food, music & overall vibe.

Had dinner with my wife and four children ages 4, 3, 1 & 1. The food was outstanding! We are visiting the area on holiday and were pleasantly surprised with how tasty and lovely the food was. We ate steak, prawn saganaki, chicken curry, chicken wings. All really good! The kids room was a huge help too! Shame there was no cold Veuve Cliquot in the fridge not to worry we enjoyed the Pipers anyway. Thanks guys, great job!

Christmas lunch for us all again this year was quite an experience. Last year was brilliant, this year First Class. Compliments to the chef! The food and choice outstanding...the venue, clean, organised and spacious. The staff, pat yourselves on the back, you all deserve a bonus for the welcoming smiles to the efficiency and most of all, the fact you gave up your time for us to enjoy our family lunch. Thankyou

Love the vibe here. Welcoming and very dog friendly which is so nice. The cauliflower steak was delicious! Highly recommend. Only slight negative was the eggplant parma not a vegan option. Menu a little confusing with that, its vegetarian and gluten free. VGFO should be V, GFO to save confusion. But otherwise everything was perfect.

Beautiful pub in a gorgeous spot and the food is top notch. Ordered steak two days in a row because it was so good (and cooked perfectly rare). Noticed that they also had a ASL cheat sheet for Deaf customers. That kind of proactive inclusiveness is unreal to see, so top marks all arounf

After having eaten thousands of parmas over the last 20 years, I have just eaten the 'Westy Parma' at the Westernport Hotel, and holy San Remo, what a treat. From the size of the succulent chicken, to the perfect crumb and oozing mozzarella, the addition of guacamole, sour cream and sweet chilli sauce has set this far above the rest. Impeccable service from the entire team, and a lovely conversation with Lyn. Easy 9.5 out of 10 for the 'Westy Parma' and I have never scored one above an 8.5. I look forward to my swift return. We are with our two kids had a wonderful dining experience at Westernport Restaurant! The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole meal enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, and I loved the delightful ambiance of the restaurant. I would highly recommend it to others looking for a great dining spot with a fantastic atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I came out for dinner and had such a brilliant meal. The food was fantastic, the pork belly was so tender and the jus was delicious. The burger was also great.

More importantly, the service from Gracie, in particular, was excellent. She checked on us and passed our feedback on to the chef, and then came by again, was lovely to chat to and passed on her recommendations for the best dishes to eat.

We will definitely have to come back to try Gracie’s recommendations!

Staff always welcoming and happy to help, whether it’s a busy Saturday night, or a quiet weekday.
Regular live music, lovely views of the water and a variety of areas to sit and have your fill - the specials are great (amazing ribs), the staples are great (parmas are huge as are the nachos!) and the beer selection is ample - local brews and all the usual suspects!

Absolutely delicious food with a generous portion to fill your belly. Menu had a great selection to choose from and same with beverage choices. Service was very friendly and helpful with enquires. Went for a lunch on a cold but sunny winter’s day. Sat out the front and enjoyed picturesque view. Lovely place to visit.

I came here for dinner with friends after a long day to have dinner. The meals we had were really tasty and the serves were of a good size. The staff were very friendly and we had a great time.
I'm sure we'll be back next time we're at Phillip Island.
