I loved their food. I am surprised how they make fresh, provide this level of service and prices are so inexpensive. One of the best value Japanese places. All you can want, small portions.

Must try. Try all the dishes if you can eat. And yes the dessert cake and icecreams too.

I tried Okami franchise in other place. But this place is the best! Taste and service, everything is perfect!

Went for the $36 per person buffet and it was really quite worth it! We tried almost everything on the buffet menu and almost everything tasted great. Especially liked the crispiness of the katsu chicken, the squid salad, spring rolls and the desert (ice cream and taiyaki was so good!)
The service was also fantastic, food was served fast, we were promptly approached many times and dishes were cleared quickly. All in all a recommended place.
We came in at 5.30, last orders at 7pm and we were allowed to eat until 7.30pm.

Been here a few times now and have never been disappointed. Great variety of dishes, friendly staff and you never wait long for an order. Definitely worth the money for an all you can eat. This place is must !!!

Returned yet again for another wonderful feast! Service was still fast and friendly, and the food was just as good as it was before! Still great value, great food and and a great experience. If you haven't yet gone, you're the one who's missing out! 😉👍👍

We love this restaurant for our kids. All you can eat Japanese is one of our family favourites. We have visited this place many times, and we always leave happy and satisfied. They have a set buffet menu, with cold sushi platters, and a simple hot food. My kids always order seaweed salad, sushi platters, chicken skewers, and fried chicken. Service is friendly and food is served fairly quickly. Restaurant is always busy, and it has 2 serving time intakes at 5.30 and 7pm.

Its a casual, relaxed environment, and the toilets and wash rooms are always clean. I d recommend to local families in the area, that love Japanese food. Not bad for $35pp.

Quality of the food is sooo good and the staff are very friendly, very welcoming to. I have been here a couple of times i rated it 4 because "sometimes" when its busy it takes a while but hey they are newly opened.
And one more thing is that you cant split the bill so keep in mind if you do want to visit.
Its a good place to catch up while waiting for the food.

As a vegetarian Okami Hoppers Crossing has always been extremely accommodating! Vegetarian sushi roll platters have been supplied as well as the many other vegetarian friendly dishes on the menu. Staff are very friendly and the price ($39) for two hours of all you can eat food that is good quality is pretty decent. The desserts are also such a lovely finish to the meal. I would recommend booking I'm advance because it can get pretty busy on weekends.

An amazing experience overall, definitely got my $37.50 moneys worth on this one. At first we didn't order much because we weren't sure but by the end of it we had so many meals it was great. As you can tell by the pictures I forgot to take photos of the food before we ate it because I was so excited to eat. Hight recommend and would go back again :)

We had a great evening here. The food came out fast! Hot! Yummy!! So much to choose from and all you can eat! Attentive staff also! You don't wait much. We brought our own wine to enjoy! We will be back very soon! This is sure to be a favorite spot! Definitely recommend and yes make a reservation!

Our first time at Okami Hoppers Crossing. We got a seniors discount even though it was a busy Saturday. The food was beautifully prepared and very efficiently served. I had sworn never to go to All you can eat places, but this is VERY different! Not greasy, full of flavour, hats off to the wonderful wait staff!

Okami Japanese Restaurant Hoppers Crossing was as expected. Fast efficient service and excellent food. Not much of a wait if you rock up at 5 pm. The place fills up fast and then the wait for food is a little longer, but not excessive.
My favourites are Yakiniku Beef, Fried rice, Vegetable Kakiage, Beef Carpaccio, Miso steak and Tempura Prawn & Veg. I recommend getting in as soon as it opens 🙂

Love this Okami. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and the food is amazing. Good price for what you get.

Although be warned if you have sensory issues this is not the place for you.
Very loud, kids screaming and crying and people cheering and laughing. I've been a few times and everytime is the same, especially with loud kids from co-patrons. That stuff doesn't really bother me so 5 stars ⭐

Very nice restaurant. We booked in a table for 10 people. Very good food and a La Carte buffet. Beautiful. Very good service. Keep it up.

Finally there is an Asian buffet in this part of the town. I have been wondering for years why we have to go to Footscray or City for a decent Asian buffet. This is buffet by order type, so food will be cooked on the spot and served fresh, which is the bright side. The downside is that you might have to wait a bit if it's busy. We went to the second session on a Saturday night and waiting time was not too bad. Food quality are pretty good with quite a few are really good, such as Sushi platter, teriyaki Beef, chicken skewers, beef Carpaccio and prawn Gyioza (dumpling). Service wise, really not much to say, not overly friendly, but definitely ok. If you live around this area, and are into Japanese food especially 🍣 and also a big fan of buffet like me, this is the place you must visit.

Very excited for the opening and finally get to try this gorgeous place. Friendly service with lovely food and plenty of parking nearby which is always a bonus. Definitely will come back soon to have more Japanese food and plum wine！

Not bad at all! For the price you pay for and the choice and quality of food available, worth it. Just make you to have a booking , sometimes gets quite busy.

All you can eat... best ever!! So yummy. Staff are very efficient. Food comes at random times, not all together, but it works better that way I think.
