Penguin Undercover Market

Always a great place to visit & spend some time walking around the huge range of goods forsale, the biggest market on the N/W coast & every Sunday too. Other out door markets like wynyard are great & only every second Sunday, but we'll worth seeing as there's a different variety of goods fir sale compared to penguin market. But both are worth a visit for sure, lots of beautigul hewellery & gemstones at penguin & the shop with all the wizards & suroents is really incredible to walk through, we got some hand knitted beanies last time. Had to ask a couple others who had kids ones where to find adults & two stall holders showed us where to go to get them. She had tons of them in baskets. The merino wool 3 pair of sox & the natural soaps are great value too. Always lots of bargains to be had.

Beautiful place, worth the trip. Lots of treasures and treats.

Great market but could do with an ATM onsite. I wasn't carrying cash and some stalls were cash only.

Everything that you may need or just good to browse. We just visited the markets for the first time in a while. Everything has been updated and looks great. It was a great place to spend a few hours.

Once we got there the parking was a bit hard but everything else awesome value we found something for all the family . The food in the dedicated food area was variety ++ although we still call potato scallaps scallips but under stand why the stall doesnt as they sell actual sea scallops yummy.

Love the penguin Market. From the friendly stall holders to the great live music, fresh fruit and vegetables and amazing cakes. There is also a trading card store

Fantastic market, so much to see. Good food and music. Picked up a few bargains. Some lovely craft work of all kinds their. Loved all the new clothing made of pure fabrics. Definitely worth a look but make sure you bring cash.. A lot of stalls don't have eftpos facilities.

Love this market and the characters you experience while shopping here. You will find everything you can imagine and the bonus of it being undercover so doesn't matter the weather, like when we went this past weekend in all the rain.

Lovely market, if you're a dog person check out the Howling tailor in the hall just past the food court, she makes collars, leads, coats and everything all by hand with amazing colours, very nice things. 😀

All food stalls operating in the food hall and live music weekly. Great craft and collectibles stalls in both undercover buildings. Lots to see and buy for tourists and locals alike. It's great to have an undercover market in a beautiful coastal town. Open every Sunday.

Great atmosphere and live music make this a fun place to visit on a Sunday. New stallholders and regular favourites have a lot on offer.

Several vendors take EFTPOS so it's more convenient for shopping. Open every Sunday regardless of weather. Two huge sheds filled with goodies both old and new. Bargains galore.

Dog treats, tarot readings, baby clothes, vintage and second-hand clothes that are like new, candy, books, CD's, gemstones.... So much to look at.

Free parking and open from 9 to 3. Highly recommended.

Great mix of stalls and a lovely atmosphere. Worth a visit on a Sunday if in town.

We go there every few weeks . The people are fantastic. We know some of them by name now. They have outdoor singers there (weather permitting) . Haven't heard one bad one yet . Great place to visit when you are in Penguin Tas .

The markets are AMAZING !! The stall holders are so friendly and down to earth. Furry Geert dog treats , Biara Natural soy candles , Zingaro styles and Jules Embroidery are amongst the many of awesome stalls there. Definitely a fo to place to spend your Sunday .

Busy as ever again. Lots of interesting stalls, traders will negotiate their prices. Visited Florence Grey, the iridologist, very profesdional, empathetic lady. Well worth a visit.

I try and make this market every Sunday! Live music, drinks, food and such a variety of things to buy. Locals must support this market to ensure its longivity and tourists need to drop past.
