Probably the friendliest and most helpful post office I've ever been to. Despite how difficult or demanding some customers can be, they always seen to serve them with a smile. Hours are better than some outlets too, which is great for me as I can get there after I close my shop at Old Petrie Town.

Twice I've been to this one now and I'm done. 1st time walking in on the old guy swearing at the staff (lady) , 2nd time went yesterday told eftpos was down could come back tomorrow with cash. Just been waited with 3 other people, lady inside saw us as sign said closed and said they not doing anything today and they we're closed and I couldn't post even though she told me to bring cash , getting all flustered at us all double downing on what she told us all. Went to Lawton instead and won't be coming back here.

If I could rate lower than 1 star I would. This post office has the worst customer service ever!! We were told our package wasn’t at Petrie post office and that the item number they put into the system says ‘not found’. We were told to call aus post who then said the parcel was scanned in at Petrie and the item number does in fact work. We go back there to collect it, and this time a guy served us. He didn’t apologise for their mess up or mention that the parcel was in deed there. We wasted so much time arguing with the lady from the beginning that the parcel was in fact, at Petrie office and that she 1. Didn’t enter the number properly and 2. Didn’t look properly either, she was just too invested in getting us out of there. I HATE that this post office is my local. I’ve never had a good experience here and I wish AUS post would start addressing the disgusting customer service they provide.

To the Australia Post Executive Management.
I write to you today, seething with anger and outrage at the deplorable treatment I endured at the Petrie Post Office at around 10:15 this morning. The flagrant display of incompetence, rudeness, and humiliation inflicted upon me by your employees is beyond belief and anything I have ever experienced in my 37 years on this earth. I demand an immediate and decisive response to rectify this grave injustice.
Upon presenting my QR code and identification, I was met with nothing short of contempt by the older male employee. His brazen demand for my surname, despite having my license and QR code in front of him, was a clear indicator of his arrogance. Instead of providing a modicum of assistance, he belligerently shoved a box in my direction but kept it away from me as he raises it in the air behind the counter, insisting I create an Aus Post account and furnish him with a number that would somehow be created to collect my parcel. He had the audacity to claim my parcel had been delivered to the post office without an address. The sheer insolence of his demeanour and his public humiliation of me in front of other customers is utterly outrageous.
Frustrated and utterly humiliated, I left the store, and dialled the Aus Post helpline. The representative I spoke to shared my disbelief and confusion regarding the nonsensical instructions provided by the store employee. Their incompetence was further highlighted, as they failed to comprehend the simplest of procedures.
Returning to the store, I confronted the employees, armed with an Aus Post representative still on the line. Shockingly, the male employee erupted in a fit of rage, falsely claiming I had been in the store the previous day and he will call the Police on me. I must clarify, with absolute certainty, that due to my incapacitating flu, I have been confined to my residence for a gruelling two weeks. My last visit to the post office was well over six months ago.
And then, in a shocking display of arrogance and condescension, the female employee, whom I can only describe as Cruela de Vil, took it upon herself to reprimand me on matters of etiquette and insisted I end my call. The Aus Post representative on the line was subjected to the same atrocious treatment, witnessing firsthand the utter lack of respect shown by these individuals.
Driven by desperation, I implored the female employee to verify the name on the box, as I had ordered clothing that would typically be delivered in a plastic satchel bag. To no surprise, the name on the box bore no resemblance to my own. Yet, as if adding insult to injury, they were unable to locate my actual parcel. It was only through my suggestion of utilising the last few digits of the tracking code that they begrudgingly retrieved my item in a satchel bag.
Throughout this entire nightmarish ordeal, neither of the employees deemed it necessary to offer even a shred of remorse or an apology for their egregious blunders. They mishandled the parcels, mistook my identity, and relentlessly subjected me to public humiliation to the point another customer checked in with me out the front of the store whilst trying to call Aus Post.
To exacerbate matters, my subsequent research into customer reviews revealed a disturbingly extensive history of repulsive stories and mistreatment by these two individuals.
Therefore, I implore you, as the AUS POST CEO, Executive Management and members from your HR Department to treat this complaint with the utmost urgency and gravity it deserves. The
behaviour demonstrated by these employees not only violates your company's Policies and Procedures but also showcases a complete lack of professionalism and disdain for customer well-being. I demand swift and severe action, including the immediate revocation of their license as licensees.
Only then can justice be served, and innocent customers spared from enduring such torment. What should have been a quick and pleasant interaction this ordeal left me reeling with shock and disbelief for the remaining part of the day.

I wish I could leave a negative star review - Darren couldn’t be ruder if he tried, such a horrible man. Drive to your next Auspost.
