Australia Post - Brighton Eventide LPO

I don't understand all negative reviews for this post office and the post master. He is always friendly and helpful and so is his colleague. I could have used a different post office closer to home, but have made it my business to continue to use this one!😊😊😊

I have been using this PO for the last 5 years. I have always felt welcome and love the PO Masters sense of humour. He always brings a smile to my face. :)

Always get my packages on Saturday mornings.
Rossco is an ok guy once you get to know him.

Great local Post Office. The guy who runs it is great. Good old fashioned Aussie service.

Little crowded at times

Worst Customer Service - second visit, no better. Bloke behind the counter tried to tell me that I needed to get a better printer when he wouldn't scan my parcels (no receipt). Politely advised him that I was a business and printed on a laser printer - then tried to tell me that I needed better paper? - Never had a problem at every other Post Office - Seems this bloke has a reputation for being unfriendly. Needs to get out a visit some other LPO's

I have come here in different times, those times are in okay experiences.

The man in the counter seems fine and okay. He seem grumpy at times but maybe thats who he is.

The lady who has strong accent and i think she is German.

I ask if i can hire a mail box she doesnt understand my English.

Maybe my English not good enough for her to understand, as i am an asian who speak with an accent too. Who knows! And dont care.

I dont know why that my package sent here. And the delivery man sent here all the time not my postal address.
just leave it by the sidegate at 404 beaconsfield terrace.

My local post office so am always there when need to be, man behind the counter is extremely flat & rude: no smile, no greeting, barely wants to help and do his job that HE gets paid for? I don’t want my package to be delivered there ever again.

If I could give this place 0 stars it would still be too high. Has anyone bothered to tell the man behind the counter it's all about customer service?
I know that post offices area franchise businesses. This office will be going backwards in value or rather should be.
Smile, be approachable, give good service and people (customers) will come back.
Perhaps he and his assistant should spend some time at Margate - legendary service from a very busy place

Criminal! Can't rate low enough.
The old man tried to tell us one Xmas card to the UK cost $8.90 by pathetically trying not to fit it into the sizing guide (which it would fit but he held it on an angle, blatantly!). We went to Margate and it went with no bother for $2.10
Also, posting Xmas cards he quickly stuck on the regular stamps, not the Xmas discounted ones. When we objected we were told "it's too late now, so tough"!...
Would expect far better from anyone in an Australia Post Office. The old man there is so grumpy and rude we left rather than endure his insults any longer. He must be the owner or he would have been sacked by now. Sorry to the people behind that had to experience the interaction.

Unfortunately terrible customer service from an elderly man. I was doing a favour for a friend who had a return parcel to send. It was express post paid online and I was unsure of the best way to package it. Did they give me a express bag or did I just write something on a box? I had all the paperwork, I asked as the item was expensive and I just needed some help. Because I had no money to spend at that time as it was pre paid I was told "I cannot help you" after a conversation and expressing I was confused I left with telling him he was a very rude man because his energy towards me was very uncomfortable and unhelpful. Working in customer service myself I know that he could of helped me but for some reason it was too hard. Such a shame as he has let Australia Post down big time. Will never be returning and will be going into the Sandgate village or the many other post stores available.

Wish I could give zero stars. Very rude, unhelpful guy serving. Tried to pick up a parcel, told me I Had to have photo ID, when I asked if I could use non photo ID, he was very brisk and rude. Only becoz I looked up policy of the post office and accepted forms of ID could I even pick it up. I would never want to return to that post again. Horrible man, how he geta return customers is beyond me..

Truly deplorable service. Unprofessional, incompetent, rude and abrasive. Time for Australia Post to cancel this franchise and stop exposing people in the area to this. Also parcels strewn throughout the store, security and privacy very questionable.

I asked if I could get a few pamphlets for my brother because he likes delivering them, but of course.. blah blah blah you can’t take that blah. I asked if I could get one of the free postcards? No. Don’t recommend.

Shockingly rude service from the franchisee - I rang Australia Post to complain and urge people to do the same if they have a similar experience
