Dippy's Horse Transport

I have not personally used these guys but was following one of their trucks down the Burringbar Ranges and the driver was careful slow and considerate along this often steep and winding road, when he reached a truck stop area at the bottom they pulled over to let traffic pass. It was great to see a considerate driver with livestock rather than those I have seen flying around corners with no consideration for their load.

I received a call 3 days prior to transport turning up. I was called with 10 minutes spare before they arrived. Our big gelding hasn't left the property for years and didn't want to leave his long lost love so he didn't want to load at first. I am new to horses (3 years) and haven't done alot of loading before. I had to request assistance and the Dippy's Transport driver was incredible, patient, understanding and super helpful. Thank you so much for getting the big fella off to his new home. We couldn't have asked for more and in this heat too! Thanks guys!

Looked after our mare and kept us in touch from Mt Isa to Blackwater. Thanks!

Had my horse arrive today from Maitland NSW to Townsville QLD. From the time I booked, the communication was excellent. When Farrenfore was in transit, there was great communication from Megan who was bringing him up. Normally a 5/6 day trip will take it out of a Thoroughbred, but my boy arrived in fantastic condition, calm and relaxed. Megan had taken exemplary care of him. I am extremely pleased with the service I received and I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone. 10/10

I have used dippy’s multiple times and will continue to use them horses are well looked after Have had no issues. They also go the extra mile for the horse community by sponsoring and supporting horse events of any size.

Fantastic rates, transport driver James was fantastic, friendly and great with the horses. Zelda at head office kept us in the loop for pick up and set down times. Highly recommend Dippys Transport.

This company doesn't deserve a rating. They need to leave livestock transport to people who really care and are compassionate to people's loved animals.
4 horse deaths in 15 months and horrible deaths at that. Won't compensate the owner's.
Please please people don't use this company to transport you beloved animals.

Would give 0 stars if i could. Word of mouth means a lot in the equestrian community, and i’ve only ever heard terrible things about this company. avoid at all costs. It’s evident that these people do not care about your animals, and will happily leave them injured (or worse) if circumstances allow. don’t risk it - your horses deserve better than this.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. Horse transport companies should not have less than 4.5 stars for human error… They’re dealing with LIVES! And too many lost with this company. It should be noted that at least 2 horses have died with this company during transport in the last year. One fuss free, easy traveller mare broke her back in the truck a few months ago and was dumped as a good samaritan’s property who had to deal with the horse and call the vet and euthanise it- the only of the horse received no acknowledgment or apologies from Dipshit’s Horse Transport. Last year, we heard of a horse that had died in the truck and had gone HOURS without the driving noticing. Word of mouth is potent. Steer clear.
