Great place for a first timer ordering; awesome customer service and presentation of food. Plenty of table s in and out. It's. Suitable for immobility and seniors require use walking assistant aids.

The historic Charters Towers stock exchange is the must visit place at the top end of Gill St. This magnificent building was in a bad state of disrepair prior to 1970 but has been bought back to its former glory over the past few decades with a new glass roof fitted in the 70's for what I believe was about $100.000.00 at the time. The Stock Exchange cafe sells fine food and coffee at great prices. The staff are courteous and will to answer questions you may have.

Stopped in here with my partner & her cousin showing a city boy like me Charters towers. I really appreciate Australian history well worth a visit had a slice of their homemade caramel cheesecake yep it's really homemade and a coffee. Make sure you check out the gallery at the back of the arcade well worth a visit

For the Best lunch in Charter Towers at The Stock Exchange Cafe, we had pies and for desert was condensed milk and jelly. Great coffee. Worth the drive.

This cafe serves delicious scones! We found them on our last trip through Charters Towers and HAD to stop again today when our travels brought us into CT again!

Travelled here from out of town. I had a cappuccino. Best one I have had in a long time. Looked great and tasted great.

Lovely atmosphere coffee and scones

I know they were busy, but an order for 2 coffees and a small cheesecake, they got wrong, overall the coffee and cake were very nice.

Situated in one of the many fabulous heritage listed buildings in this beautiful Historic city, The Stock Exchange Cafe has lost none of it's yesteryear charm. Black and white tiled floors, brick walls, tongue and groove ceilings and coloured glass windows throwing filtered colours into the cafe. Pioneer style tables and chairs furnish the interior with hand-painted, indigenous art adorning the the centre of the tables. In the glass domed arcade are more comfortable tables and chairs.
There is a breakfast menu, a burger selection, plus sandwiches, wraps and rolls with you choice of fillings, also a counter display of tempting cakes, quiches, etc. Drinks include all your usual hot drinks, soft drinks and milkshakes, frappes and smoothies. Our lunch consisted of, roast beef, chutney and cheese on Turkish bread, perfect. Then quiche with a very colourful salad which included pineapple,(a very Queensland touch), most satisfying. The Venezia Primo Costa Ricon, Blend 4, was excellently prepared from the MegaCrem espresso machine. Their logo reads "Sensational coffee, wonderful food at a great location" we fully agree.

Nothing beats a locally made pie, the apple turnover was perfect, our coffee's were spot on, thank you for exceptional quick service

Excellent customer service, the meals were large and desserts were Yumm. Will be back.

Always beautiful food, we go there quite regularly and I have not had 1 complaint!
