Rude service. Treated me like he was doing me a favour for me to spend $130. Heard him being so nice to the guy in front on me that he obviously hates non locals. He didn’t even respond to most of the things I asked, cold angry sad bloke. Feel sorry for someone that is that unhappy. Pity this is going to now be my impression of BWS’s.

Worst bottle shop experience ever. Yesterday I accompanied my sister in law to the bottle shop so she could get herself some alcohol. Me being a young looking women ( and passenger ) they identified both of us, which is completely fine. but for the record I do not drink and am a breastfeeding mother.
But today I had gone back to this bottle shop and seen the same two men who identified me yesterday. This time I was just driving my 50 year old mother in law ( from Victoria with no vehicle) to the bottle shop so she could get her alcohol. They would not sell it to my 50 year old mother in law because I did not have my identification. What was this women supposed to do? She has no vehicle and I was just the driver :( they would have asked for my identification if I was a passenger, like yesterday. mind you these men saw my identification less than a day before. And we even had quite a long conversation so I know that they wouldn't have forgotten. So I drove home quiet upset and in a rush to a appointment so I could get my identification. I drove back through with my identification and my father in law this time. My father in law proceeded to ask the manager if he had identified me yesterday, he confirmed that he had identified me yesterday. the manager proceeded to remove the identification from my hand and write something down on a piece of paper. Quite unsettling to think they have my address or information.
I had a family of 6 that I was going to be taking out to the commercial hotel for a meal tonight. I am a regular customer and have purchased alcohol without being identified. I think this is ridiculous needless to say my family alcohol will be purchased else where from now on.
I just went through the tavern bottle-o and it was a much better experience I was identified but the did not remove my identification from my hand or write anything down.
This business will fail no doubt if this is how unkind people are going to be

What a terrible experience I had in this BWS. I went into this store to buy alcohol after shopping at Woolworths with my sixteen year old daughter. I found it really strange when a young female staff member with blonde hair came over trying to listen to my conversation and stared at both of us. She proceeded to ask my daughter for ID and accused me of buying alcohol for my daughter!!
As a forty-two year old woman buying alcohol in a bottle shop, I have never been stalked by a staff member and treated like I was breaking the law. Very ignorant and rude staff and I will never return.
Perhaps management should invest in customer service skills for their staff.

Has been my local for 2 years unfortunately the new lady working with black and purple hair had made me feel like a criminal. I had signed in Using the check in QLD app and when walking in noticed the new employee on her phone she then questioned me about checking in when she noticed I had walked in then started accusing me that I hadn’t. I then tried to show her the app and that I had indeed signed in before she said she then didn’t need to see.

Have always support my local businesses but this treatment is beyond a joke.

Was my local but a lady that appeared to be a manager gave me a warning that she would not serve me again as I had been in twice earlier that day. I bought a 4pk for myself but shared with with 3 people. Others turned up and I had to go and buy another 4pk. I've had 4 drinks myself and very offended. I explained I was buying drinks for housemates as we live locally. I'm doing the host thing. This has been over a 6hr period.
If you have a BBQ, buy in excess of what you think because even if you exhibit a non intoxicated nature you will receive this offensive message.
Disgusted at the the robotic message without any enquiry as to circumstances.
For a local if you have a party/BBQ this is a place you should avoid.

The young male staff member with a hat on was very rude and judgemental on my purchase. I do not know why he works at a liquor store. I will not be returning.
