I had a non red meat degustation and my husband the vegetarian degustation, all I can say is “wow” every morsel was truly thought though for flavour and presentation. I thought the price of $85 per head was very reasonable considering what we had. Thank you chef and your team.

Food and service were great, servers were very friendly and had a very extensive available wine list, tangy, tasty and a great addition to the Barossa wine tour

We celebrated our 5th anniversary here back in 2015 and this year we got married. We wanted to celebrate one more anniversary here, as it has been one of our favourite food experiences in our 12 years! This did not disappoint! The entrees were spectacular. We had the betel leaves, spring rolls and dumplings! Just beautiful. Our mains were lovely too. Vegetarian red curry, beef cheeks, with the beautiful vegetables and rice! We were so happy. What a lovely restaurant. Great service from everyone, but especially the younger staff who were super lovely! 😊

Our group of 4 had the chef’s tasting menu for lunch, and it did not disappoint! So much good food & great flavours! We all had different highlights - we all loved the betel leaves, I loved the mullet, son loved the Wagyu beef, hubby loved the pork belly, and we all vote for the spring rolls - not your standard!

2 of our group did the wine matching - this is a great way to enjoy a variety of different wines, and they were well chosen. A mix of lighter & heavier, drier & sweeter. Felt like it took us on a journey with the food. Definitely worth a try, especially if you feel a bit daunted by the extensive wine list! The highlights were the red Sake, the Otherness Verthandi (off-dry Riesling), & the Charles Melton GSR.

The service was fabulous! The sommelier was very knowledgeable, and the pace of the food was perfect.

Definitely try the Vietnamese coffee!

Yum!! We did the chef’s menu and whilst it was on the more expensive side (by the time we each had a couple of drinks as well), we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious (in particular the Hanoi spring rolls), service was really lovely, and we definitely did not leave hungry! 10/10 would recommend!

Have been too fermentAsian a few times now over a period of five years, and every visit has been exceptional ! Great fresh food and always very attentive service. 👌

The Food was delicious (IMO the servings were a little small for the prices).. probably because the food was so tasty, and we had to share between us - but we were very well satisfied at the end of our meal.

If you love Vietnamese food, yes it not cheap, but definitely worth a try to experience some amazing flavours 🥰🤤

Very highly recommended from a number of people and I can see why. Top quality Asian food in an unexpected location. Incredible wine list matched with a highly knowledgable owner who has an amazing memory for beverage detail.

Really enjoyed my meal here. I was very full by the end and struggled with dessert (I'm not a big eater anyway). They have a lot of tables here for a fine dining restaurant, which somewhat affects the intimacy of a place like this. Food was great - especially the pork and fish dishes. Looked like the staff were running between tables like a cafe.

Chef’s tasting menu involved the highlights of the a la carte menu. Generous servings. Pork belly and barramundi were stand outs. Nicely paired with a glass of Pinot Grigio. Dessert of simple but delicious lime brûlée finished off a great night. Very attentive and friendly waiter. Great atmosphere.

Great food and service. Highly recommend getting the chef's menu with matching wines. This restaurant would be excellent value and a true stand-out in any large city; the fact it's set in the beautiful Barossa Valley makes it even more appealing.

This is a fabulous fusion Asian dining experience! Being an Asian myself who are familiar with most types of Asian cuisine, I was very impressed with the service, the exquisite presentation, and best of all, the wonderful taste of everything we ordered. They pride themselves on a very impressive cellar in the house and an extensive wine list. Price is high but it's worth every penny.

Just the most delicious food...all 4 at the table had the same feeling about the food and 2 of them are serious foodies! Flavours were sensational .... definitely worth going...and we will again.

Perfect. This is one of the most perfect dining experiences my wife and i have had the privilege of experiencing. There are multiple small rooms so you have only a couple of other tables in your room. Once seated you are aware offered water and drink and the biggest most extensive wine list i have ever seen. They offered assistance with the list but it was will presented and easy to navigate. Because we were dining over the busy Australian day weekend there was only on offer a set chef's menu. We were aware of this when booking but it was a perfect offering. So, the place, the food, the wine was perfect, but i could write a book to try and explain how attentive, knowledgeable and engaging the wait staff were. At the conclusion of the meal we asked to see the wine cellar, so we were welcomed out and were able to see all the other small rooms and enjoy looking at a range of local and international wines dating from 1937 (there may have been older) and looking well cared for. We came to Fernment Asian on a recommendation and i can not wait to be the one to recommend this restaurant to me friends. If you are reading this review i hope that you decide to go and know you will have an amazing experience.

What a treat! Nothing to fault, from the top notch service to the unforgettable, packed of flavour food, our meal was a delight from start to finish. Absolutely 5 stars, without hesitation.
