I'd say it makes my top 2 Chinese restaurants in Charters towers, and top 1 buffets. Perfect balance of sweet and sour. Do miss the bottomless capucino though.

One of the best, if not the best Chinese restaurants we have had the pleasure of dining in... was met with a friendy "'hello" when we walked in and great service with a smile.. food was super delicious... thank you 😊

Good westernised Chinese buffet which was completely unexpected in Charters Towers. All the food was hot well presented and good value. It was a nice change to Tbones and schnitzels. The decor and setting was a bit dated but clean

Seriously awesome time! And great service too. Sensational food - all you can eat, for a great price. Reduced prices for children under 10. Would definitely come back if we weren't continuing our road trip in the morning.

I travel a lot with my work and Chinese is one of my favourite meals. The Golden Mine Chinese Restaurant was THE BEST Chinese I have had in a very long time...... If not THE BEST EVER...

Love this shop! Best Chinese in town, nicest food, fresh & a huge selection. The owners are super nice, really well worth a visit.
