Calcutta Sweets is my absolute go-to! We have been coming here for a few years. The staff are genuinely lovely, generous people. I cannot fault the food it’s 5 stars every time.

Best Indian food I have had so far!! Amazing quality at an highly affordable price. Been there 5 times, the food is always at top quality, consistency in taste and freshness! Love ordering at least 3 types of curry and pack the leftover for lunch next few days, the meat (chicken, lamb) still tender and juicy even heating up with microwave. The variety of sweets available is eye opening, I always get a box for dessert 😍

I remember eating here a few years ago and chole bathure tasted good back then. I was in the area and thought of trying this place again. We had paneer chole bhature and masala kulcha. Both of them tasted good, they were fresh.

We had a delicious dinner.
Food was mildly spiced. Orders were served quick.

We recently visited this place and ordered goat curry, butter chicken, naan breads and ice cream. Everything they served us in very hygienic environment. Chef made us best goat curry, visited us once at table and asked feel free to order if you need anything else. I have never tasted goat curry like what I had here at this restaurant. It was very rich in flavour and was possibly slow cooked. Naan bread was very crispy and properly cooked. Very happy with the customer service and quality of food. Will definitely visit again and again.

Calcutta Sweets one of our favourite places to go whenever we want to eat out or feeling lazy to make dinner at home.
The staff is fantastic, cannot explain enough about their friendly nature. They are very welcoming, friendly and professional at the same time.
It is an affordable place where you can enjoy variety of tasty food.
Also, the sweets are fresh and best in Melbourne.

This place is an absolute hidden gem, hidden in the heart of Dandenong this place is a land of curries, gravys , sweets and spices. It will tickle your taste buds to heaven.

So delicious and so yummy you won't be disappointed. The boss the staff are so nice and so kind. The food is amazing and so cheap. Such big generous awesome and amazing serves.

Very clean prosperous and tidy cafe restaurant. You must try everything on the menu.

We tried Chole bhture and chaat papdi, samosa. Me and my friends came here first time and I really like there service and food I never ever tried that’s much tasty food . I feel so good and I tried so many places in Melbourne but this place is awesome. Must visit there for tasty food.

Trust me,if you are a diehard fan of Choke batture, please visit this place. They are the best ever in the Dandenong city. For $9.50, you can have a great meal. Girls at the counter are really welcoming. You need to ask the receipt specifically,if you really want.

Do not let the modest décor & older style ordering system fool you - this place serves the most beautiful, authentic and tasty Indian food I can remember having.
We come here all the time and the staff are kind and helpful.

My Melbourne fav for quality Indian mithai (sweet) and namkeen (savoury) nibbles. I'd recommend factoring in long wait time for pick-ups.

The best Indian I’ve ever had. Have been craving it for 3 years since moving away from the area, and finally had it again last night. EXACTLY as I remembered- so delicious!! Friendly staff too :)

as Aussies we are a bit fussy when it comes to eating out at ethnic oriented restaurants.

Probably one of the closest things to actual, authentic Indian food in the area. And at great prices. One of the cheapest places too. Loved it.

This place is absolutely amazing!

Samosa Chaat and bhaturas are on point, along with their biryani too.

Friendly staff make the whole experience even more pleasant.
