Broome Explorer Bus

I was in Broome for almost 3 weeks late July until mid August. Used the buses every day.
Absolutely wonderful bus service !
Broome Explorer buses go to from cable Beach to town, stopping near main hotels and resorts. Bus drivers are super friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for making my commuting so much fun 😊❤

I always found the Broome Explorer Bus easy and convenient to use. It is a great service for everyone and much nicer than buzzing around on the purple scooters. Broome is a holiday destination, not a cbd so don’t expect services to run into the wee hours (that’s what the abundant taxi services are for). For a family run business I think they do a bloody good job boosting tourism for excellent fare prices.

broome isn't the easiest place to get around so definitely recommend this bus service if you don't have a car. buses come on the hour most days and you can pay by card on the bus. you can get single trip, 10 trip pass, 24 hour pass and 72 hour pass. the 24 hour pass was great value and on the back has some good coupons like a free paddle at matsos.

On short visit to Broome purchased the 3 day pass good value service for getting around. Huge compliments to driver Alex who gave superb service. Alex was friendly and knowledgeable, went out of his way to help and guide. Bus is air-conned and convenient service. Would highly recommend for visiting Broome.

What a wonderful way to get around Broome. We would like to acknowledge Robyn our favorite bus driver who made every trip we did with her a joy.
She is a gem to be treasured.

This bus is so cool. It takes you around Broome to the tourist attractions. I’ve always visited on public holidays, not intentionally, so everything was closed.

It’s a great initiative which I hope is always around as it’s a great option to hiring a car.

I think my favourite stop was MATSO’S!

Highly recommend taking the BE. Gives you a good look around town and gives you great options and locations to get off. Also has a speaker which I found hard to hear. The recording played tells you about Broome and the history as well as suggestions. The bus basically operates all year round. Christmas was off but alternating hours of operation were for Boxing Day and other PHs. My only gripe was the advertised times, didn’t advise where the bus will start which isn’t ideal for tourists. We didn’t think to ask at the time. We were just thrilled there was bus operations on PHs! We were not expecting it.

There’s a one way ticket option or 24hr or 72hr ticket options. The back of the bus ticket has specials we took amazing advantage of. From MATSO’S free paddle to free cocktails at Zander’s. I’m sure it will change up but that what we had.

The bus caters to people who are in a wheelchair or are mobility challenged which was great.

What an excellent service. I’ve been lucky enough to have Robyn as my driver on several trips. She has to be the happiest, most friendly and helpful driver I’ve ever come across. Go Robyn!!!!

While they can’t operate to high season timetable due to no staff they are going an amazing job

Great bus service. If it's your first visit, it's worth doing the full trip for a quick overview of Broome and Cable Beach. Very reliable and reasonably priced for travelling between Broome and Cable Beach and the various places of interest in between. They also offer multi-trip ticket options. Friendly, helpful drivers and the recorded commentary throughout was very informative to us first time visitors.

Great bus service. On time , regular, friendly staff and a good route around Broome. Was worried about not getting a hire car but didn't need to be!

Great service. Gets you everywhere you need to be. Cheap and reliable compared to taxis and car hire! Make sure you bring your student WA card for discount.

This bus has gotten me to and from work, besides being a few minutes late sometimes (which has worked in my favour once or twice) the drivers are super friendly, informative and you can easily find a bus schedule.

Friendly drivers, clean busses, informative commentary, very reasonable pricing and highly recommended.
