Benilato Authentic Italian Gelato

I found Benilato serving his gelato at a pop up stand in Newrybar, and it was amazing! I had the Hazelnut flavour (which is Dairy Free/Vegan) and it tasted amazing! Ben was a delight to chat to, you can really tell the passion he has for his product and customers. I highly recommend his ice cream, it will not disappoint! 😄

All my friends have known me as an ice cream fanatic since I was little. It is my guilty pleasure to sit down and really savour it when I get a chance to myself.
I found Benilato over 3 years ago now, I have been coming to him for gelato ever since. I try other places, and there is some great gelato out there.. but I just keep coming back to Benilato, nothing is as good as his. I cannot find any other place that has the level of quality his gelato brings.

The consistency is beyond perfect. It is the consistency that does it for me; there is no ice cream as perfectly smooth and dense as Benilato Gelato. It is somewhat firmer than gelato you can find in other places yet it melts in the mouth perfectly. I do not know how to describe it properly, as there is nothing to compare it to. With a great range of flavours with the perfect balance of sweetness and richness, you cannot go wrong.

If you want the real deal, the best of what authentic Italian gelato has to offer, you HAVE to try Benilato. It is the best gelato I have ever had.
My personal favourite flavours are the boysenberry, hazelnut, and vanila macadamia.

WOW! Such delicious gelato, you can taste the quality. I had the White Choc Macadamia and it was out of this world. Can't wait to go again to try more flavours. The cannoli was to die for as well!

A great find! The best and most authentic Italian Gelato in the Byron hinterland. We met Ben, the owner, who is a 4th generation gelato maker. Gluten and dairy free options and lots of delicious flavours.

Best ice cream I have had in a VERY long time. The kind man working, went out back and opened up a new tub of the Oreo cookie and cream which was very nice of him. Top quality ice cream I’d rave about any day!! Get yourself a scoop!

Finding Benilato in this part of the Byron hinterland was a very pleasant surprise. Beni is the most authentic Italian person, so full of passion and knowledge about his products, and very enthusiastic too. We tried a couple of different flavours and they were just perfect. A trip to Federal is well worth it just for the gelato. Grazie Ben.
