Lifeline Shop Manly

Excellent shop if you are a book lover. The whole upstairs area is $2 books. They had lots of Nora Roberts which I purchased 4 books. Lots to choose from across genres. Old and New. I highly recommend having a look. Friendly service at the register too.

You must go upstairs to this incredible second hand book shop. All books are $2 and the selection is so incredibly organised by genre and author surname (for fiction titles). I love the staff picks display with all the popular titles unearthed and also the books made into movies display! Bought a bag full of books for a small price. Will visit everytime I'm in Manly.

Excellent shop, lovely staff and great to browse.
Be aware of entitled middle aged women complaining about it "being boring" though.
Invite those people to walk into traffic, then thank the staff for being so wonderful.

Picked up some great items here - handbag, jeans, jacket to name a few. The quality of the clothes is pretty good - not too worn or damaged. The prices are a little on the high side but know you're making a difference to a very valuable charity.

This shop is one of the best kept secrets in Sydney. They are selling in an up market suburb and their stock is curated accordingly. Lots of fashion label clothing. Especially good for prestige active wear and expensive brand business shirts. The bargains are so good I feel like a robber. My daughter and wife have found loads of good items also. Some days everything I am wearing is from this shop. They also have some nice items of jewelry from time to time, especially watches. The upstairs has a large book collection which is very well organised. It has also has a separate children's book section which has saved us a fortune over the years.

If you are a tourist visiting manly, here’s a tourist tip! - looking for holiday books to read? You can’t get a Manly Library card, but you CAN find probably the biggest permanent collection of secondhand books on the Northern Beaches up stairs - literally thousands! Great for a casual holiday read. I even saw some little girls who had been on holiday in Manly giving a lifeline staffer flowers, apparently because they’d let the girls buy books and then swap them whilst in Manly on holiday just like a library. ❤

All money is used to fund specialists providing mental health, crisis and suicide prevention support services over the phone. So a great cause! 😇

The store has undergone a real transformation and has a fabulous curated selection of clothes, homewares, kids clothes and all sorts of interesting things. The atmosphere was great with good music and friendly helpful staff.

Definitely worth a visit as the stock is always changing

This opportunity shop has one of the best second hand book sections I have found in Sydney, the whole second floor is books, and priced at $2 and $1 for kids books it is definitely a goldmine for entertainment on a rainy day.

Fabulous range of books upstairs, well laid out, lots of clothing items etc. Always able to find something! Friendly service.
