Gerald the Fish Sculpture

The fish is hidden behind trees - it’s not immediately noticeable until you see a red thing behind those trees. It is a somewhat appropriate sculpture as it is a fishing spot just off Terrace Park. It is a bit weathered from years being out here. Its red eye on its left is peeling (I didn’t take a photo from that side…). I also included some photos of Terrace park. A nice picnic spot with clean toilets. Hope Port Stephen council will give Gerald some love and care. Come by and visit it if you happen to be at the Terrace.

Always a nice spot to chuck a line in or gets some fresh air

Cause it's out there

A nice, if not a little bettered sculpture by the river. A walk south along the river is a community sculpture of a Rainbow Serpent.
Plenty of parking, functional toilets.

These pics are flattering,council have had a bit of a go,looks like it could be trouble at night here..Random clothing and a sleeping bag half buried like someone jas stolen items..
Its got real potential to be amazing this area...Gerald is in an odf spot so catches you by suprise a bit .
It reminds me of a place you would smoke bongs if I am honest.
All that said me the Mrs and dog enjoyed a stroll around,the dog was buggered after it,see pic.

Fish on top of a very small slope of earth next to walking/cycle track with dangerous balance beam at the end of the track. Not suitable for children as i found out.
