Beautiful cooked fresh seafood always. Staff are friendly and prices are excellent for the packs offered. Pop in on your way home for a quick bite. Unfortunately, toilets are out of service due to Covid restrictions.

Don't be fooled by the run down exterior, this place is definitely worth stopping.

The first time I went here it was super busy and I soon found out why. The food is fantastic. They are not trying to be the cheapest but I think they are great value for quality NOT fast food.

Plenty of room to park even if you have a caravan in tow.

Plenty of room for larger groups to sit undercover but it's pretty run down and the Toilet appears to be a portable so I'd avoid that.

Overall highly recommended for the food and now that I've found out they will take phone orders, I'll be there every week.

We had the usual today, prawn roll and the fish and chips special. Never disappoints, always first class, except today the piece of fish was ginormous, really sweet and flakey. So today's purchase was exceptional.

I live 20k away from here. Picked up my fish and chips, Pluto and spring roll and drove home.
Everything was fantastic.
All food was in a cardboard box inside a paper bag.
Everything was still hot and the fish was awesome.

Absolutely delicious fish and chips for one pled 2 potato scallops shared between 2 and we still had leftovers for dinner. The batter on the fish was light and crispy and the price reasonable

Best takeaway fish and chips I've had in years. A friend recommended on my travel down from Port Macquarie to Sydney. Real potato scallops and the calamari and fish were amazing! Highly recommend, beats McDs and the dirty bird hands down.

Fish and chips were great, service very good and friendly. The fresh prawns were very tempting but had to decline them, was worth the quick lunch stop on our travels

Sandys seafood is great. Fresh fish and chips cooked in fresh oil. And there is even a bit of room for parking trucks. Friendly people to and a huge selection of great tasting food. Beware, that get real busy around lunch time.

Lovely seafood. We had the$11 special, 2 crab claws, 2 fish bites, 2 prawn cutlets, 2 calamari. Was all nicely cooked, not greasy. Had two potato scallops in top, nice ones.

I have driven past many times but finnaly went in.
Got the bacon and egg burger for $9.50. Wow! pretty much a full works Burger. Was awesome and hit the spot.
Will defiantly be stopping again.

This place is literally the definition of Never Judge A Book By It's Cover.
The exterior as many have mentioned is a little run down, but the food is DELICIOUS!!! They had an amazing selection of seafood and hamburgers. They were even happy to make a custom burger for my fussy eater sister!
Bargain prices for delicious food. Highly recommended!!

Amazing batter! So crispy, so light, delicious! Potato scallop was so thin and crunchy, nothing stodgy here.
We will be back for sure.

Crumbed Calamari and chips are hard to beat. Never had a bad meal here in 10 years.

Worth going to and try. Great seafood. Their prawn rolls are great to have. You must try this. Staff are friendly and helpful. I'll be back there again sometime in the future. Why don't you call in there and try them. Worth doing so.

Purchased a seafood basket for the family and a works burger for me. Tasty crispy batter on the seafood and the burger was huge! Barely managed to finish it. Lunchtimes will be busy and Covid regs mean you'll need to wait outside or in your car while they cook your order.

Best in Australia beautiful moist fish crunchy batter and crispy chips. Nice to see a place I remember from 30 odd years ago still has high standards. Well done.

( Thursday 6th May 2021 )on our way back home to Newcastle from Raymond Terrace and the food was very yummy 😋 I had a huge chicken burger 🍔 and chocolate milk 🥛 and my family had fish and chips 🍟 and scollips and a drink
and we enjoyed it very much the food was still hot when we got to Kooragang Ireland ,

The young who served today was polite and friendly but the food here is a little bit to overpriced , Otherwise would recommend coming back again ,

I have driven past several times and actually pulled in this time . Had the prawn roll and it was excellent. Also got a few takeaway shop standards and I was pleased with all of it. Definitely worth a stop

The food is delicious!!!! It looks a little old and not many places to sit but don't let that stop you, the fish and chips are great!
