First time buying and staff member Adrian took his time with me and didn't make me feel silly about questions due to my lack of knowledge or experience and he didn't rush me or look like he'd rather serve other people. Got a pair of hunting boots from here and the staff were really patient and helpful with me. I also did my firearms safety course and Rick was fantastic. Very informative and knowledgeable, great experience every time I’ve visited.

I drive all the way from Nowra on the south coast to purchase at this business. There are many reasons - all of them great ones.
If you live on the South coast and have used some of the " businesses " there you will understand why service, quality, price and customer treatment
make it worth the while for a 3 1/2 hour return trip to visit Abela's.

This team doesn’t just sell the most expensive gear or best sellers; they ask the necessary questions to recommend the right product for you.

I (stupidly) dry fired my compound bow and the line came off; one of the guys reinstalled and greased the bow and didn't even charge me for it.

I also purchase ammo on a regular basis and these guys are always making suggestions and helpful recommendations.

Strongly recommend.

Update: The service at this store is by far the best of any firearms store I have encountered. Most stores in Sydney you are treated like a nuisance. At Abelas, they would rather see you happy as a customer and leave having made the right decision, rather than the best sale. Can't recommend them enough!!

I have purchased 2 firearms from Abela’s and always grab my ammo from there.
On both firearms purchases Tony has taken the time to see what the rifles would be used for and the type of game I was hunting. His extensive knowledge saw the perfect rifles for my scenarios and budget. On collection, watching him assemble them was watching a perfectionist at work. the staff have always been very helpful every time I've been in the store. good range of firearms and accessories.

Regularly use this gun shop for ammo and firearm purchase. Always had great service and any question is answered with as much detail as possible regardless of how busy the place may be.
Yes you can buy cheaper off the internet for cleaning or clothing products etc but I like to support my local trades so don't mind paying a bit extra. The firearms I have found to be very competitive in price and they have price matched in the past for me.

Great place to shop. Staff are always willing to help and dont treat you like a fool if you ask a rookie question. Highly recommended. 👍
