Camden Cottage Preschool

Camden cottage preschool has been so welcoming to me and my two boys. We have been at this centre for 3 weeks now and Mr David and the staff have been so amazing not only to me and my boys by making us feel like we have been there a long time, but they have included us in their fabulous Christmas party and most of all they have included my son in their Graduation! Words can't describe how grateful I am for Camden Cottage preschool.
The smile on my boys faces everyday just shows how fantastic this centre is.. I definitely would recommend going to this family oriented preschool. If I could give more than a 5 star rating I definitely would. Thankyou Mr David and all educators that have been apart of putting smiles back on my boys little faces 😃

My daughter had never been in anyone’s care other than mine so when she was ready to start preschool, it took me 8 months to look for and find the perfect place for her. But as soon as I booked a tour with Cindy and David, the owners of Camden Cottage Preschool, I felt very comfortable. The centre is clean, well designed and makes you feel at home! The educators are great with children and always take time to chat with you about your child’s day. My daughter loves her preschool, she talks about it all the time and to everyone! She would sleep there and attend on weekends too if she could!

We have been happily traveling from Mount Annan to Camden Cottage for the past 4 years. The centre is unique. It has large natural yard with real grass, natural shade, fruit trees, mud kitchen, live animals and many other things that are hard to come by. School readiness program is excellent. New owners are lovely. Mr. David is An experienced, patient and dedicated teacher. Staff are friendly and supportive.

Words can’t describe the significant & positive impact Camden Cottage has had on my son and my family. My child has special needs and the love, patience, support and kindness shown by David, Annetta, Meghan and the whole team has allowed him to thrive. He is now talking, building friendships, participating in group activities (well, sometimes 😂) and is always happy to go to Camden Cottage.

They have gone above and beyond to help us and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you for all you do for the children and families of the Camden and MacArthur region ❤

Highly recommended Camden Cottage. All the staff are amazing and very friendly. We have been taking our first born there for 2 years and our second will start next year. We have tried other Centers, but found Camden Cottage a little smaller and a bit more private. Thanks guys👍

Great outdoor fun play areas with friendly approachable carers who have all been there a long time. All the kids love when Mr David plays his guitar. Clean and tidy there is always something fun to do at camden cottage pre school.

My son really loved this centre. They really care for each child's development and cater for each individual. All the educators were very experienced and welcoming. Can't recommend highly enough.

I cannot compliment this school enough.
Our son has had some behavior difficulties and Cindy, David and their team have been nothing but extremely helpful and accommodating.

Great Preschool. Our 2 children have been attending for a few weeks now and always get excited for school day. Excellent facilities with lots to do for the kids. David and staff thank you.

It was it it was a great day care

My husband and I realised after 2 orientation days and 2 full days at Camden cottage that this centre was not the right centre for our daughter. Though I was told it’s too early to make a judgement call by raising these concerns to the centre, we believe that if we feel extremely uneasy dropping our child that it’s best to find a centre that we are happy with.

These were our following concerns;
*How the director handled my complaint saying ‘no one has ever had an issue’, ‘my child cannot receive 100% attention’, ‘you can’t make that judgement it’s to early’, ‘you can talk to educator about these issues not me’ . It felt like she didn’t want to investigate my complaint nor let me explain my whole complaint in detail.
*My major concern was my daughter’s water consumption. On the Monday her bottle had not left her bag. On the Friday i marked the bottle at label, so I could see how much water my daughter had drank but the water level was still at the exact same level on a very hot summer day. My child came home drinking extremely large volumes of water.
* No notification about what she ate for lunch on the Friday. she came home both days eating large amounts of foods.
* Lack of communication with educator. I felt the educator was unapproachable on pick up of my child. On the Friday she looked at me but not even a hello or a goodbye, just to quickly greet me and give feedback on how my daughters day was would have been great.
*Messages I had relayed to morning educators not told to the educators that started later.
* Cream seemed to not be applied to rash. I supplied cream with her name on it at morning drop off informing educator. Rash looked more red and irritated when arriving home and changing nappy.
* My child covered in dried snot all over cheeks, mouth and even in her hair on pick up. Her runny nose was due to hay fever just to clarify).
