Wow wow. Haven’t had fish and chips like it for years. All that we had, chips, potato scallop and flake were cooked to perfection. The fish was thick and moist the chips and potato scallops were lovely and crunchy. Even going on a Saturday was no issue as they have a good ordering system. Will definitely be back. Julie

Come during the busy lunchtime. This shop is packed with customers, very likely are tourists who have heard about this must-on fish and chip shop. After orders being placed, customers have to wait outside to reduce congestion.

There are freezers stocked with frozen fish, packed sliced pieces, and other seafood.IBesides these, it also sells sauces, breadcrumbs and beverages.

Due to recent rainy / stormy days, oyster is not available. There is no problem with other fish for crumb-and-fry. The waiting time is not that long, and golden yellow fish a d chips are ready to satisfy my hungry stomach.

The piping hot thich pieces of fish are juicy and thick. It is very pleasant to sit outside in the sun and ennjoy the calm and blue water, moored with a number of boats.

Very tasty, has a good price and has a friendly staff. We didn't have the chips because was over but the potato cake was a nice recommendation to replace the fries.

Firstly, if you eat there, watch out for the seagulls some can be aggressive. Top notch seafood. Good batter ratio and flavour, seafood was cooked nicely and so tasty and not dry at all. Also the home made tartare was delicious as well.

Ate here Sunday 25/02/24 with friends. Quick to order and notified of 10-15 min wait as it was crowded. Food came out as promised. We shared battered fish (blue grenadier) with chips, all absolutely delicious. Friend had battered prawns, also pronounced delish. Son had a hamburger and, as something of a critic, demolished it with loud praise. So no complaints at all, and greatly satisfied in our experience overall, especially since we'd read some previous negative comments. Congratulations Bluewave !

Very fresh, crunchy, tasty seafood for very reasonable prices. Aggro seagulls unassociated with business but buyers beware of these hooligans ready to dive bomb at your meal. Pleasant views, pleasant staff. We’ll be back again this week for more easy lunches.

Nice outdoor seating arrangement watching the fishing boats come and go and a number of pelicans hanging around. Definately recommend.

This place is special for me. We bought so many fresh fish from Bluewave Seafood. Often we eat fish and chips and buy fish to take back home.

They source great seafood from local shops and film the boats coming into the harbour (Bermagui).

Unfortunately this business is for sale. I would be sad to loose a fishmonger that sources local sand fresh seafood.

Please whoever buys it, you have big shoes to fill in and please keep up the high quality.

Lovely fish and chip restaurant located at Bermagui Fisherman’s Wharf!

We went with the standard fish and chips, with accompanying side salad. It was really nice, fish cooked really well and the chips were great! The staff were also super helpful with an allergy based order which was really appreciated.

Another fabulous upside is that whilst you wait for your takeaway there is a fabulous marina to sit back and watch (couple of photos attached).

There is also a side area which sells fresh fish and other seafood products. Oysters looks good!

Only suggestion I would make is signing up for the Service NSW COVID checkin application.

Great location and friendly staff. Sit on the deck and watch the boats bob up and down. Can get busy. Don’t feed the birds they are already too well fed and you don’t want bird poop on your food!

Has to be the bets fish and chips I've had. The softest calamari that were softer than butter. Big chunks of Flake, would go over and over if I lived in Bermi.

Fantastic fish and chips Ocean Dory, Blue Grenadier was delicious lovely light crispy batter. Chips were chunky and tasty too...
They do get busy though so be warned...

Food was awesome, the view is beautiful, we were served fast, the food was hot and not oily, I liked that we could add our own chicken salt too. Staff were lovely, highly recommend 😊

My partner and I have been on holidays for over 2 weeks and tried over 15 different fish and chip shops along the coast and we would have to say this is by far the best it is however the most I've ever paid for a piece of flake. However it was a decent size extremely tasty butter was perfect the seafood basket was perfect.

Fresh and worth every cent paid for our lunch here. We got dory , flake and calamari rings , everything was delicious.

Food was delicious, service was swift despite it being very busy! Definitely recommend 👌 ❤

The 45 minute wait was worth it. Best battered seafood basket I can remember. Crispy batter, moist fresh seafood that just "pops" in your mouth.

Busy fish and chips place right on the bay. Not a lot of vegetarian options as one can imagine. But very good chips and delicious potato cakes.

We ordered the calamari box, jon dory box , and the blue grenadier box. All tasty and fresh. Oysters were great too. Will be back hopefully soon

We had calamari and the blue genenadier. Both were truly fantastic!
