A friend recommended this lovely italian spot on the harbor and couldn’t be more happy with the meal we enjoyed there! Lovely upstairs spot, really knowledgeable and incredibly friendly staff, and the food was memorable. We enjoyed the oysters (so fresh!), cos salad (epic), prawn pasta (the little details like chili and crumble were divine) & tiramisu (yum) and wish we could have sampled more. Our only night in Wallagah Lake but best dining experience we could have wanted. Thank you!!

This restaurant has an arrangement with Harbar next door where they will deliver your meal to your table if you order and pay at the restaurant’s front counter. (That is, they don’t do table service to bar patrons, which is fair enough). We both enjoyed the chilli prawn linguine - beware, it’s pretty spicy though! Very delicious.

Service slow but very respectful, as the place was full of diners

The dishes are fabulous. We both enjoyed kingfish with fantastic cabbage salad which we polished off completely. Serve sizes generous.

Its rare that I would ever post a 5 star review, however I truly think this establishment has earned it.
Now, Ive taken into account all aspects, that includes the excellent food along with the stunning location with its superb views over the harbour.
Ok, 5 of us had dinner. With 3 courses plus drinks it didnt even hit $100 each!!
ENTREES:
Calamari Fritti was absolutely superb!! The most delicate tempura batter Ive ever eaten. Mushroom Arancinis were delicious, little garlic pizzas excellent.
MAINS:
Blueye with Gnocchi, Lasagne, Duck Ragu, Beetroot Rissotto, Chilli Prawns.
Superb! The only criticism would be the prawns needed more chilli and the Rissotto was slightly under seasoned.
DESSERTS:
Rum Baba, Affegatos (sadly they had run out of Cannolis!!).
Having never eaten Rum Babas we were slightly underwhelmed. A rum flavoured mousse (?) with a deep fried yeast cake that is soaked with a sweet syrup..."nice"...was the general consensus but there are many more superb Italian desserts.
Overall it was a brilliant night, attentive yet unobtrusive service.
Well trained staff whose attention to detail was comforting, (call me what you will but I have a dislike of restaurants that bring replacement cutlery and place it on the table surface and not on a clean napkin, which the staff here did without being asked).
Cant wait to go back!

A super friendly and efficient crew member she was.
The best view, dog friendly and a menu of delicious offerings. What else can one ask for? We had no bookings and they fitted us on the verandah overlooking the marina at sunset.

Honestly, you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you visited Bermagui and didn't eat at Il Passaggio. Their delicious dishes are made from locally-sourced ingredients, and the mains I tried were without a doubt some of the best Italian food I've ever had. I highly recommend the ricotta gnocchi with duck ragu!

We had arancini for entree which were melting in your mouth, papardelle with duck and king fish for mains with green salad on the side(simple but exceptionally good). Everything was delicious and well presented. The desert menu looked tempting, but we were full by then.

Had an incredible evening here with my partner today. The gnocchi with duck was so amazing that I had to order a second serving. My partner ordered a steak after his spaghetti because the pasta and prawns were so beautiful, that he wanted to try another dish. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the deserts were just as incredible.

Could not recommend this restaurant more, the food was delightful, the lovely ladies who served us made our night easy and brought delicious hot food extremely quickly, and we are looking forward to coming back on our next bermagui visit.

We had dinner at the Restaurant last night and were highly impressed the friendly efficient service, the meals we ordered were made with love and care and topped of with probably the best view in Bermagui and exemplary Jindabyne Brewery products.
Thank you to the whole Team and we are definitely coming back.

We had such a beautiful meal here. They accommodated us despite being a busy Friday night and we had no booking. Seated at a lovely table on the balcony overlooking the harbour.

Fresh local oysters with Italian Prosecco were perfect. Zucchini flowers with incredible honey and cheese were very good. Focaccia with in-season stone fruits - simply outstanding. Great wine list of local and Italian wines, we had a chilled red with pizzas for mains that were also fantastic.

Attentive, friendly caring waiters, great night, we’ll be back.

Very fresh sea food - we tried their specials and loved them all - chocolate ice cream is very very good - have some good cocktails to go with the food too - service excellent - ambience - cafe cum diner - the only annoyance was this vibration from something that was like a constant groan - we went again in the morning and it wasn’t there
