Canton Bay on Mounts Bay Road is hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Perth. We have been there for dinners, get-togethers and birthdays for the past 4 years and have always been delighted by their consistently delicious food, warm service and cosy ambience 👌☺

A pleasant Chinese restaurant along Mounts Bay road, with great food and ambience. This place presents as a great alternative to heading into Northbridge, and the food itself is top notch. The staff are friendly and helpful as well, and Karen the manager is very hospitable.

Excellent food, prepared with care. Nice quieter atmosphere. Would definitely recommend! It’s a little tucked away, but look for the bottom of Jacob’s Ladder.

Absolutely amazing! We were greeted warmly by the staff. When escorted to our table, we were all seated by a member of staff and waited on with the utmost respect. The wait time was very short and the food was absolutely brilliant. The venture itself was calm and relaxing, offering a quiet and consealed space for dining.

The food it's self... I couldn't say anything bad about it other than, I regret not ordering more!
It was tasteful and cooked perfectly, the flavours all mixed nicely and it was presented picture perfect.

I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone who's willing!

We just had a meal at Canton bay for our 10 year old daughters birthday and I can honestly say that the restaurant is the best Chinese restaurant I have ever visited.

The service was top class and staff friendly and helpful. The quality of the food was exceptional and the waitresses even sang happy birthday for my daughter, which went down very well with her!

If you looking for a family friendly, premier place to eat, then I strongly advise you visit Canton bay restaurant.

The Lobster Noodle and Peking Duck tasted fabulous.

If you take your time to find out parking can is difficult in that area and you understand there is a $15 charge for BYOB. You will have a wonderful dinner here. Excellent food, great service and outstanding atmosphere. It is smaller on the inside than it seems but is still a hidden gem. 10/10 would dine again.

Super friendly staff, but the food is delicious and the wine list is very well matched.

Excellent cantonese food. Probably the best in Perth. Light, fresh and prepared perfectly the traditional way. I'm probably the only white guy here tonight, but let's be honest, that's a good sign. Often busy, so best to make a reservation. Good for any occasion.

Such an unassuming front door! The most delicious Chinese food we've eaten in a long time. Very friendly staff, excellent menu & fresh and tasty food. Satay chicken & Mongolian lamb... YUM!!!

Fantastic takeaway from this hidden gem! I thought it was a little expensive for a takeaway but as the food was the best Chinese I've had in Perth I'll definitely be back. You have to look pretty hard to find the place as it's set back from the road by the bottom of Jacobs Ladder.

Had 3 courses with a wine very well priced. Great food and friendly staff. Amazing decor. Was a nice meal out after a day walking the city.
