Precinct Pasta

Everyone knows precinct pasta has one of the best pasta menus in Canberra. They also have absolutely mouth watering breads, but this evening I branched out to order the lamb shank from the specials board. BY FAR! the best dish i have had in over 12 months!!! I cannot express in words how much i enjoyed every flavour and every texture. sensational food made even better by warm welcoming staff.

If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would!!

The service was fantastic - everyone who served our table was super friendly, attentive and accommodating.

The food was delicious and comes in massive portions - would definitely recommend the Bruschetta, which is literally stuffed with tomato. Might go as far as saying my favourite Bruschetta in town 👌

A true Canberra hidden gem! From the outside this place is very unassuming, but once you are greeted by their wonderful staff and try the food you will realise that Precinct Pasta is fantastic. The garlic bread is lovely, and so was the cannelloni and recent gnocchi special. Would absolutely recommend!

Great balance of generous, well crafted meals, fair pricing, and friendly efficient service. We had dinner for two (2 mains and a bottle of red wine) for about $85. Reminded me of the comfort to be found in great little Italian restaurants - an authentic restaurant's heart reaches beyond the plate.

I go here with my partner once a month and every time we go it is absolutely fabulous. The servings are huge and affordable, we split a gnocchi dish and we still have left overs. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff are so friendly, I would highly recommend to anyone.

Not usually a review person... However, this was legitimately the best service I've experienced eating in a restaurant in a long time. The food was also fantastic. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Ordered chicken wings entrees and were delicious. Lasagne and cannelloni mains with rochette and pear salad. So delicious and big serves. The best panacotta I have ever had for dessert.
We have been a few times now. I can recommend the cheesy garlic bread definitely. The veal dishes are delicious. The tiramissu and blueberry cheesecake - yum.
This place will satisfy big appetites with delicious meals.

Popped in on a Friday evening and sat outside. I had Lasagne and the wife had a nice pasta dish, with a couple of beers! Bread and olives to start. Quick service and tasty food. Salad with the lasagne in a side dish would have been far better. Will visit again

Diamond in the rough- This place is absolutely punching above it's weight.

The vibe of the place is casual, and honestly pretty simple. It's clear that undivided attention is focused on food and service. The food is fresh and high quality, consistently across the menu. (garlic bread is definitely worth trying). Dishes don't take long to reach your table, and they're carried by incredibly efficient and polite wait staff. It's tangible how much the staff care about the dining experience, and that really does make a difference.

Precinct Pasta could hold it's head high amongst the trendy restaurants on Londsdale St. - but we're lucky they've made a home in Nicholls.

It is a very simple and unassuming restaurant. But the service was excellent, all of the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent as well. We ordered the garlic bread (one of the best we have ever had) and different pasta dishes, I had the carbonara. The servings were very generous and we couldn’t finish it all but they were happy to provide us with take away boxes.
It truly was some of the best pasta I have ever had, it wasn’t overly rich which a lot of places ten to do.
Would 100% recommend it and go back there again if we are ever in the area.

Food tastes amazing best gnocchi. Portion sizes are great value. Service is good. It's a nice little restaurant that does reasonably quick takeaway aswell.

Staff were polite, friendly and attentive. Goos sized menu to suit most dietry restri tions and tastes and selection of drinks.

We had entrees and mains, The courses were well timed with all meals coming out together and servings are generous, l cant go past gnocchi and the gnocchi here was soft and melt in mouth.

The restaurant is nice you don't need to yell to hear others your dining with.

The pasta was top notch! So glad to find this little gem so close to home. Friendly over the phone when asking about an allergy and very generous portion size.

Love this place. They make the best Cabonara ever. I've never eaten in, however, if you're looking for some good takeaway pasta, I think this place makes the best in Canberra. I raved about this place to my parents who were wanting takeaway tonight. I ordered them the cabonara, the calabrese, chicken risotto, and a caprese salad. Always such generous servings, way enough to feed 3 very hungry adults. Everything is always super fresh and hot. Never soggy or gluggy over cooked pasta. I'm usually not a fan of cabonara, but honestly it's my favourite dish here. Mum took one bite of it and said that she's never making her own cabonara again, and that if she has a craving for it she'll be getting it from here. (And she use to be a chef and owned restaurants, so that says alot that she thought that) Yey! Chicken risotto was the bomb as well thoroughly enjoyed that too. So much chicken, fresh ingredients, great flavour and the perfect amount of seasoning. All of it is so good. I highly recommend to everyone who lives northside and beyond to try it. Doesn't look like the fanciest place on the inside, but boy do they really have the best food. Please don't change your recipes Pricint Pasta! Whatever your recipes are and who ever is cooking them, it's perfection! Love, love, love your food. I wish the owners and all the staff nothing but success and prosperity, because everything is made with love and you can taste it. 20/10 stars.

The large servings are always delicious, no matter what we try, and we have to finish with the tiramisu, even if we're too full. The atmosphere is casual and friendly and the service is very good.

Absolutely love this place !! Regularly eat in and take away. Meals are always big and warm. Staff are always pleasant and welcoming. Have had to wait a while a few times for takeaway but when we picked up realised just how busy they were !! Have recently become vegetarian and when asked for meat to be removed from the meal they were super accommodating and offered to substitute it for other vegetables. Love visiting this place and enjoy a meal.
