Lumus Imaging Kogarah

The x-ray technical was fantastic - quick and efficient and friendly. I went on a Saturday morning and the wait time was left than 10mins. No need to print the referral from GP if it’s been provided by email you can email it to the medical receptionist there when checking in.
Entry is via South St, not the Princes Highway. There is street parking however it’s not easy to come by. There are two parking stations nearby - the St George private hospital car park behind the imaging centre - approx $10 for one hour. There is also a public car park up the road that a little less expensive.

I needed to have an MRI which was not covered by private health or Medicare. Lumus were the same price as St Vincent’s Hospital without the 3 week wait. I called and booked an appointment for the next day. The staff were friendly and helpful, the service was quick and efficient. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for any imaging you may require.

I had to get a ultra sound in an intimate area. The whole process went smoothly and I had no problems at all.

The room was tidy and clean.

Kogarah Imaging Centre also practice Covid safety.

No appointment, no paperwork, no charge. In and out in 15 min. It is definitely NOT supposed to be so easy. I want to go back again even though I have no need to do so. Impressed to the max

the staff here are excellent, very friendly and caring. 2 hr parking nearby can be challenging depending on the day, but not impossible. Never had to wait long for service here and I've had several CTs and standard xrays to date... highly recommend :-)

My surgeon as part of the post op appointment wanted to make sure that the pain that I was experiencing in my leg was not DVT. As you can imagine, I was very concerned.

I immediately went downstairs to Lumus Imaging Kogarah and explained the situation and provided the paperwork from the Surgeon. Without hesitation, the lady on the front desk managed the whole process brilliantly, and arranged for me to have an Ultrasound on the spot to put my mind at ease.

Good news is that the Ultrasound was negative for DVT. I cannot thank the lady on the front desk and the Ultrasound technician for a fantastic, fast service and caring service. I was out of there within 30 minutes. I thought I would have to book in for an appointment but the staff were very caring and arranged it on the spot. Could not recommend any higher.

Great customer service from everybody at Lumus from receptionist to Radiologist. Quick results for me to take to my Specialist. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly over the phone to book in an appointment when I had called a number of other clinics - these guys were by far the most knowledgeable and friendly.

My physio requested for me to have an MRI. I called Lumus yesterday and got an appointment today at 131 Princes Hwy Kogarah. I got there at 6.55am and from the moment I arrived (on crutches) I was looked after and assisted by lovely Vicki. Vicki went out of her way to help me. I received earplugs, earphones and was completely comfortable during the process. Afterwards, Vicki packed my images and paperwork into a plastic bag to make it easier for me. I called 4 or 5 other clinics today attempting to schedule a same-day ultrasound to check for DVT. Each of those clinics advised me that this could be life threatening and that I should get the scan done urgently, but none were able to accommodate me today.

When I contacted Lumus Kogarah and told them what my referral was for, they asked how quickly I could come in and arranged a slot for me more or less immediately. While I appreciate that this sort of approach to urgent scans may sometimes impact upon scheduled appointments (I don't believe it did in this instance) I was extremely grateful that my situation was taken seriously and feel I would have understood if on the other side.

Mark, the sonographer was professional, friendly and answered all of my questions clearly.

Overall, an excellent experience and I am again grateful for the clinic's serious approach to performing potentially urgent scans.

The Staff are fantastic at Lumus Kogarah. I was made feel welcome and put at ease as I get anxious with Medical procedures as most people do. Thanks to everyone I dealt with on the day.

Great service, I needed an emergency ultrasound and the receptionist was very helpful fitting me in even when they were fully booked. She was very kind on the phone which I appreciated as I was very upset. The gentleman doing the ultrasound was also really lovely and put me at ease straight away in a very stressful time.

Had a wonderful experience here, Aya at reception was great at what she does, while Rohan who completed my procedure was excellent. Made me feel very comfortable not awkward at all for what is a bit of an awkward procedure. Got an appointment for an MRI. Then needed to postpone it for a week. Easily and quickly done. Come the day, check-in was quick and easy, staff helpful and friendly, and the whole process went smoothly with minimum waiting time. All done in less than an hour, and left with a cool DVD of my hip-bones in my hands.

Professional and friendly staff. More importantly they are on time and bulk billed too. Unlike other providers which cram the schedules and wasting your time waiting.
