Fair price, excellent well chosen range of wines, spirits and craft beers (many products are local and deserving support) PLUS friendly 'happy to see you' staff. For a small outlet it punches well above its weight. The cool room is not cool. Its cold!!...as it should be.

One of, if not the best, bottle shops in Canberra. Duncan is a legend who has created a truely unique beer and wine collection to appeal to any taste.

Lots of focus on local and independents combined with high quality imports. If you are looking for a certain style or just want to know what is currently good or new, all the staff are really knowledgeable and make great recommendations.

You will never be disappointed visiting the shop or jumping online. I do like the bulk purchase discount offered online. They should bring this to the shop too.

Candamber is, hands down, the premier bottleo in Canberra. Cracking good selection of wine, spirits, and the most incredible selection of craft beers.

The crew know a thing or two about what they're selling as well; always able to make a recommendation that never misses.

Awesome range of craft beers, available in 4-packs or singles. Friendly knowledgeable staff to guide you. These beers can be pricey so it’s great to know you’re buying something you’ll like! Go through the rather unwelcoming front door and spend some time in a good independent bottle shop.

The staff here are always welcoming and happy to offer advice (or leave you alone if you are pursuing the shelves). Probably the best selection of craft beers that I have seen in Australia, their wine selection is also great offering plenty of local heros.
Prices are on par with the local chains, all within a couple of dollars +/-.

I'm not sure how anyone could write a negative review on this place, unless they were after a carton of emu bitter.

The best range of beers you'll love but have never heard of, and staff working there are extremely helpful in a non-annoying way. They also have wine if you're into that.

If you love your brews, skip the big boys of Dan Murphy’s and BWS. This is where it’s at! Absolutely incredible range of beers from across Australia and around the world, all at very decent prices. Staff are always welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!

Superb beer offerings (best I've found in Canberra outside of Plonk), and a small, interesting wine selection focused on quality and local regional offerings.
Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly (the manager Duncan introduced himself to me after I'd been in a few times), always going and finding a cold 4/6 pack if you find something on the shelves, and happy to make suggestions.
No reason to go to the same-as-everywhere-else BWS across the street when this is here.

I love this little bottle shop. It's got a great range, stocked up with new stuff all the time. Only thing I'd suggest is refrigerating some of the unique top beers you guys pull in during the summer. Keeps them hoptastic!

It's totally worth walking straight past the Woolies liquor store and over the zebra crossing to Candamber. A top liquor store with super beers and a good & knowledgeable bunch of blokes.
