Lovely little casual cafe. Gets busy so come early. Yummy food and quick service - the ramen was great! Not very spicy though even when ordering spicy. Salmon salad was yum and Udon were good. The agedashi tofu was very flavoursome.

Amazing atmosphere, feels like you're in an authentic Japanese ramen house. Fresh and tasty food at a reasonable price. Super fast and friendly service.

It’s a cozy place to have dinner. Ordered miso ramen, Takoyaki and Teriyaki chicken, so yummmy! I think the ramen is the best I have ever had in Cbr. The teriyaki chicken is only $20?? Surprise! But it is a little bit sad that they don’t have sushi and sashimi.

I finished my weekly sports games and feeling very hungry and decide to first time try Tasuke Restaurant.

Reminder: When I’m In Very Hungry state The food tastes whole new level 😋

How I find the place? Well The decoration and the design got my attention. When I went in, I feel like I’m in somewhere else calm and relaxed. Quiet and friendly chats. Excellent Art Display! And Cute designs decorations.

My first time order is Curry prawn rice with Kimchi and Soap. It was an amazing dinner Set. I’m looking forward to try new set next week (^_^)

Absolutely delicious dinner of agedashi tofu, a teriyaki chicken set and tempura prawn udon. Accompanied by hot green tea. Everything was delicious and all for $55. Service here is superb and the food is fresh and really well cooked and presented. Love the casual atmosphere, very authentic and nice and relaxed. Highly recommended. (I've eaten here about 6 times and have never had a bad experience - any negative reviews should be taken with scepticism).

Tasuke is, was, and probably will always be, my top restaurant in Civic centre. And now it's closing. So I thought I'd edit my review to write a goodbye and a thank you.

I ate here pretty regularly, every time work finished on time, and the quality was always kept perfect, with great service. I always ordered house sake, sapporo premium and basically anything with pork cutlets in it. And it never let me down. I'd pay, say thank you, give compliments, and tip whenever I had cash.

Since I started going here, I plugged it to every single one of my friends. I took my ex here, I took my current partner here. Because the only thing I wanted was this hole-in-the-wall, authentic Japanese place in the dead centre of civic (the literal city centre) to live just a bit longer than the overpriced chain restaurants.

But I guess nothing can last forever.

Thank you to every chef, and everyone working the floor- you did amazing.
I won't forget it.

Friendly staff and amazing atmosphere to sit in and have lunch. All the ramen dishes, their signature pork ramen in particular, are all bursting with flavour a must try in you’re ever in Civic !

Love the style of the restaurant, so cozy. I ordered the pork ramen, good taste, not too heavy and a good portion, the pork made a big difference!

Came in to the centre for fathers day dinner and was surprised it was open as it normally isn't on Sunday. Ordered gyoza and pork ramen. Both were top notch. We were the only people there. Wife ordered beef and chicken ramen. Also delicious.

Moving to Canberra we were really surprised at the lack up casual ramen places, but once we found Tasuke we were suprised!

First of all the food is amazing, we eat out monthly as a household and Tasuke Ramen is a new tradition for us, you can't go past the pork katsudon, or if you're feeling like noodles instead the crispy pork udon is a favourite. As for starters we always get the potato crocuettes, as well as the crispy chicken (can't remember the game).

The price is super affordable, and it's as close to authentic Japanese ramen as you'll get in Canberra, the atmosphere is also really similar to the casual ramen cafes of Akihabara and Shinjuku and gives me pretty great memories or visiting tokyo.
