New number plate recognition cameras fitted when driving in or out of the passenger pick-up or drop off area. These machines replaced the paper ticketing machines. For parking less than 1 hour parking is free.

Great small airport. Just need to start international flights to Bali once a week, and it would be perfect.

The new parking set up is a real plus that is now up and running.

Karratha Airport is an important regional airport. In recent years it has been undergoing some major upgrades to the terminal building and the car park facilities. It has reached the stage where it is of a very high standard and somewhere you don't mind spending time waiting for your next flight. A nice bar plus quality food and cafe. There is also a travel style magazine store as you'd expect at a large airport.

Good regional airport. Full of FIFOs as you would expect. Unusual number of clients drinking beer for breakfast but otherwise pretty standard

Absolutely brilliant place to stay clean rooms and the food on the buffet breakfast and dinner is beautiful cooked with a great selection.

Cosy little airport that serves the FIFO community for offshore oil & gas and mining .
There is a heli-base beside Karratha airport that allows the FIFO to take the chopper out to work and back .
At the airport departure area , there are shops serving food and drinks for departing passenger . Frequenty flights daily to and from Perth .

Quick check-in and move through security at this busy airport. Good clean amenities and places to sit and charge portable items.

Good capacity to handle traffic flow & baggage, located a short drive from town.

Quick and efficient check in even security was fast. Great facilities. Food and beverages. In a comfortable relaxing setting.

Very efficient airport, just stay away from hungry jacks.
