I am so very glad I engaged Tony to initially paint the exterior of our house. He is exceptional. He went above and beyond. He also did some remediation work for us before painting our main living areas and then our hallway and bedrooms. He was always courteous, attentive and very tidy. While looking for suitable paints for my house, I came across The Tidy Painter at Mosman. I was so impressed with Tony’s work that I decided to send him a message to seek further advice. Within no time, he not only contacted me on the phone but also gave brilliant advice. I don’t live in Mosman area otherwise I would have got my house painted from him!! Tony did an amazing job on repairing the cracks in our walls of our 100 year old house, and painting over them. We went away for 10 days whilst Tony did the job for us. We felt completely comfortable leaving him in our home to do the work and when we returned today, he had left the house in pristine conditions after completing the job.

If you require a truly professional paint job Tony Richardson is the man for you. We have a Californian bungalow with masses of detailed woodwork and he has done an amazing job including ‘painting out’ the heavy Japan black lacquered ceiling beams in the lounge/dining lifting the look of the room. Tony’s attention to detail in preparation; workmanship; and paint finish is meticulous .. he has done a great job and we thoroughly recommend him. He is a lovely guy; a great communicator and easy to have in your home.

We chose Tony to paint our house based on a recommendation from a neighbour as we were after a painter who prepared the walls prior to painting rather than just painting over dirt and problems and he didn’t disappoint. Tony was thorough in his preparation from cleaning the walls, to fixing some minor issues with them prior to painting and the finished job is fabulous. I have already recommended the Tidy Painter, Tony Richardson, to several people. My bathroom had not been painted properly by the previous painter a few years ago. When I met Tony, he was very clear on what was wrong, what needed to be done, how long it would take and problems that may arise.

Tony was on time for the initial appointment for the quote, on day one when the work commenced and for the final appointment when the work was completed.

I'm very pleased with the painting work done by Tony. He was very careful to protect my furniture and flooring. And he also spent a lot of time prepping the walls before he painted. Tony was more expensive than the other quotes I got. But when he did the job I could see why. I would 100% recommend The Tidy Painter.

Tony painted the entire interior of our 2 bed, 2 living room 103 year old house. We had some old damp damage and some minor plastering repairs. Tony's prep was meticulous and we got very used to his neat yellow edging tape on every window and edge. Comment was made, by some close friends, that our house was tidier during Tony's painting than normal, but I dispute this (a bit). Tony is trustworthy, quiet, clean, tidy, expert at what he does, and a genuinely nice person to have around. And he brings his own coffee and lunch. Very highly recommended.
