Merrylands Memorial Park

Only a short walk from where we live and yet we only visited once. My son had fun and he actually met some friendly kids around his age there. Was such a nice breeze when we went but was cut short because we had to go to the mall just across the road for our shopping.
Overall, very convenient oh and also the playground was somewhat undercover so you could really feel that breeze when its there.

Merrylands Memorial Park War Memorial was erected in memory of those who died in service or were killed in action in conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

The park was upgraded in May 2019 with new swings and play equipment.

Merrylands Memorial Park is between Treves Street and Windsor Road, with entrances from both roads.

There are seats around the playground and a basketball court.

- rope climb
- merry-go-round
- balance beam
- moneky bar slider
- step pads

Quite pleasant place, plenty of lighting after hours.

Beautiful little park.
Lots of shade.
Next to a busy road though.

Playground is much better with the new revamp and sun sails.

Considering the park contains the areas main war memorial it's generally always covered in litter & neglected just another example of this Council's laziness incompetence and negligence 🤔
