Love this park and The Big Log !
Always great for a toilet stop and a quick photo. Half way stop from Sheffield or Melbourne!!
Also love a blueberry ice cream from the Lollie shop it tastes just like hubba bubba grape bubble gum 😋 try it !

Great stop for a stretch, food and breathe in the wonderful fresh air. Picnic spot...perfect views amazing!!

Wonderful hiking experience around Dove lake, one can un-noticeably indulge in nature.

Nice park with a little history, great for kids, and a pit stop.

Nice place to stop on a long journey and take a short walk in the park. Read about the interesting characters who settled here, including Eliza Forlonge who brought her famous breed of sheep all the way from Germany. Look for names of convicts on the long row of bricks set into the pavement, you may find an ancestor!

There is not a park with a playground in the history of parks with playgrounds to match this particular park and it's associated playground. As a child, this was the necessary stop on long drives up to Launceston, and was greatly anticipated and appreciated by both parents and children alike. No playground has made such an impression upon me as this one has. Some idiot wrapped the swings around the top pole once though, which wasn't cool.

Great little park area. Public toilets, picnic tables and rubbish bins. Clean and green.

A great spot for people who want a break while travelling from Hobart to Northern Tasmania, and vice versa. Has a caravan friendly carpark and a large open area and playground, as well as a small bit of history in the statue out front.

good place on the highway to stop for a break in between Launceston and Hobart. or even Hobart to Launceston.

Great little rest area with clean facilities

Awesome shady spot, the seesaw can support 2 adults not just kids :D. Enjoyed the sundial and historical information.

Such a gorgeous place to stop. Room for the kids to run and play. Plenty of shade, and right across the road from quality food places. Clean, accessible toilets, and plenty of parking. 5stars.
