Excellent location, spacious and well equipped room. Ravi at the reception was always available to cater to any needs. Clean shower & toilet. Clean linen and plenty of parking available on site.
Highly recommended.

What a surprise package this place was. Initially annoyed with WOTIF for selling me a room that wasn't available at the property, I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the room, the size of the double beds and the gigantic bath tub! Beautifully renovated and if you stay at the rear of the property, the rooms are lovely and quiet. It was fine for us that this property wasn't within walking distance to town too, we would definitely stay again.

Hidden Gem of Mt Gambier. Massive rooms, great service, food at the Presidental Restaurant is sensational. As a foodie, I would drive 5 hours from Melbourne to have dinner here, stay the night and drive back. We tasted few dishes from the menu across a 3 course meal. Flavours and presentation of a 5 star chef.Sensational

Really nice people and great service. Big spacious rooms, standard rooms are slightly dated but well kept and clean. Renovated rooms have been done really well and look fantastic. Restaurant is really nice just a bit out of my price range preference.

The room is spacious, the location is very quiet and away from the road noise.
Staff at the restaurant are providing good service making sure you are satisfied with your meals.

The room my family and I was offered was large, clean, tidy, comfortable and excellent value.
I would have no hesitation in staying here again or recommending this motel to others.
The owners were very polite and honest. It was apparent that they have worked hard to maintain high standards at their motel.

The rooms are large, the bed is comfortable and the shower has good pressure. If you are over 4 foot then the bath is too small for you. Overall a great place to stay in Mount Gambier

Lovely rooms with great attention to detail. Family owned establishment where you can tell they really care about their business. We did find our room was a little noisy - the door leaked nose and cigarette smoke from our neighbors but being an older motel that's refurbished I understand this is an issue difficult to address. Comfortable beds and great shower.

The staff and owners are lovely. The rooms were nicely renovated, spacious and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed eating at the restaurant which was just like a home cooked meal. We ended up booking an extra night because we are so comfortable here. Thank you 😊

We had a large room. Very quiet and clean. Nice bed. Can't comment about restaurant because it was closed due to being a holiday weekend.

First tip is to support your local service provider by contacting them direct and ensuring your spending dollars stay local. Online booking agencies are off-shore owned.
Second tip is if you’re staying in Mount Gambier then look no further than the Presidential. We will be back for sure. Recent renovations are nearly completed and this is easily a 4 Star rating Hotel.
Jaime at Reception generously upgraded our room and it was truly outstanding. She also recommended their restaurant for dinner and we had a most memorable steak meal. Wow, so good!

We had the most beautiful dinner. Great food, wine and service. The ambiance was lovely and to think we nearly drove on by because the lighting was so low and we couldn't easily see the restaurant!! We had prawn skewers...such lively fresh flavours, lamb curry...yum and the duck confit...super yum...all paired with delicious local wines. Amazing.

We stayed here during our recent trip to Mount Gambier and it was great! We had a queen spa room and the spa bath was massive! The room itself was clean, tidy and spacious. The bed was so comfortable I struggled to get out each morning! The ladies at the front desk were very nice and made checking in and out a breeze. I would definitely stay here again. Hopefully the chef (who was on leave during our stay) will be here next time so I can try the food everyone has been raving about! Thanks!

Nicely renovated and modern rooms. Best i have seen in a motel, and i have stayed in many motels! Mount Gambier is a small town, so it's really no more than 10 mins drive to any attractions in the area.

Comfortable beds, spacious room and clean ensuite. Nice bbq area. The only downside is no microwave in the room or no common room with cooking facilities. Even though thanks for comfortable stay in the long weekend and will come back again. Highly recommended.

Beautiful room. Hot shower with rain head. Comfortable king size bed. Hosts were amazing. Will definitely stay again when we next visit Mt Gambier.

Jamie and Steve are great custodians of the Presidential Motel.
They give there all and are stone by stone rebuilding this place up! (And it’s not far off being fully renovated with beautifully modern rooms and facilities).
The dedication and commitment they have given to this business is outstanding and I can’t speak highly enough of them and their team.
The many regulars that keep coming back are a testament to the pride and care that is given here.
I’d give them 6⭐’s if I could 🙌🙏
