Old Mates Cafe

Nice little cafe with a huge heart. Staffs were friendly and atmosphere chippy.
One of the better breaky I'd in a long while. Bread nicely toasted with perfectly cooked egg and bacon. For the price that comes with a cup of small coffee, what else can I asked for.

We went for a late breakfast this morning with the whole family. The staff is very friendly, nice atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious (and very well priced). We had egg benedict with salmon, tomato bruscetta, big breakfast and Dutch croquettes (home-made). The coffees are also delicious as well as fresh juices and milk shakes. We will be back soon! Great place to visit after a motorcycle ride in the hills! There’s motorcycle parking out the front. (Only about 4!). The food, coffee and staff are all excellent. Highly recommended.

After going to the kalamunda farmers market we popped in "Old mates" for a coffee before heading home. The service was great and the waitress welcomed us with a smile. The coffee was good and topped off with a piece of Dutch apple tart, very nice. We would highly recommend "Olds mates" for your weekend coffee and tart break

Serve time was reasonable even through they were very busy (also tells you something), and the food and coffee were great.

Wonderfull staff and food is wonderfull. We enjoyed our stay. Our food took a bit longer than we thought, they offered us a free drink. We had a good time, thank you!

I had the pancakes with seasonal fruit, the poached berries and plums on top made it an absolute delight! Loved every bite. People serving were super friendly and accommodating, even when I made weird requests.

This is a fantastic place for brunch... or any meal for that matter the staff would be some of the best I've encountered... the food was perfect short wait times but worth the wait ... this one is a must if your up that way I will definitely be back.the

5-stars experience. We just popped in for an early lunch with my daughters this morning.
The staff are friendly and kind and the food is just amazing. We had pancakes, bruscetta and a Club Chicken sandwich
which was the best sandwich my daughter said she has ever eaten. If it wasn’t so far from home we would definitely visit ‘Old Mates’ more often.

I loved the place as soon as I saw it, went in and ordered from their menu clear to see and was not disappointed in either the time until I received my order or the food or service. 100% recommend

Found this cafe recently, and now this is our ‘regular Sun breaky/coffee stop when up in the hills.

Dee and her staff are very warm and friendly, the food is great and prices are very reasonable.

When in Kalamunda we always stop in for coffee and cakes. The staff are friendly, welcoming and always attentive not only when taking an order but when bringing it to the table. Really can't say enough about how good the experience here is

Great restaurants with amazing foods and friendly services. Lovely cafe with a relaxing vibe. They even takes group booking which is very handy and a bonus for any special event. Definitely be back for more.

Four of us had a tasty breakfast. Good price. Staff were efficient and friendly. A most enjoyable experience.

First time here spur of the moment to call in. I had the pulled pork sarnie. Honestly best I have ever tasted. My husband and mum had the club chicken sandwich really tasty abd enjoyed. Service was very pleasant friendly and quick. Highly recommend. Will be back.
