Mount Henry Tavern

The Mt Henry Tavern represents your classic local tavern. It's nothing too exciting, but it's where you feel at home. The beer choice is standard, but it's all you need. The food options are the same as most pubs but I must admit I've never had a complaint about how it's cooked. They also offer great specials throughout the week. Definitely worth visiting for a catch up with friends and a nice feed/beer.

Three of us went for dinner on a Tuesday night. Staff were very friendly and service was quick. Meals were large (2 of our group did not finish all of their meal). Great atmosphere and chairs and tables had plenty of space. We will be back.

Omg Monday night LAMB SHANK special. I’ve eaten all over Perth north to south. Never had a shank as good as chef Tom. Bloody outstanding. Fell off the bone mash was creamy and fluffy and omg the cauliflower cheese melt in your mouth. No knife needed. Highly recommend do your self a favour and check it out.

Went to the Mount Henry Tavern last week with a large group of friends and had a great time and terrific meal once again
The Mount is the perfect place to go to with a group of people it’s spacious clean and tidy and the food is amazing. The staff are so friendly and welcoming they make you feel comfortable relaxed and important.
The menu is extensive and great value for money with all meals being first class and excellent quality
Our group have had most items on the menu and love everything, my meal last week was delicious tempura prawns and salad which was great. The seafood is quality and so tasty we love the barramundi and crab dishes and it’s hard to beat the sensational tender steaks dishes.
Sweets are amazing they can not be overlooked you must try Iam sure you will enjoy them
We love the friendly atmosphere it’s great so try this Tavern guys it’s a great place to go and so relaxing.
It’s easy to get to just off the freeway at Canning bridge you will be very surprised and glad you made the effort.

So LOVED the meal here( hats off to the Chef!!! We ordered various plates to share:
Beef Cigars, Slider Combo, Trio of dips, Prawns and Watermelon Salad, Plain Garlic Bread and Cheesy Garlic Bread. If I were to come again I would order everything again and get extra Watermelon Salad, exchange the Beef Cigar for Tempura Prawn and exchange the plain Garlic for Cheesy Garlic.
Our best choice was the Prawn and Watermelon Salad. We all had never had never tasted this before...it was so delicious. The food was excellent for our budget. It probably could've fed 5 people. The cost came to $98.30 and we couldn't eat the rest of our food but were able to take it home. We paid to see the band, and they were Primo too. What I didn't like: it was too small a venue and was mainly standing only(no room to put our wine bottles or glasses on) We stayed all night by bar. Later on the Restaurant was opened for event BUT only a handful of people sat in there. Perhaps there could be a screen to watch the band could be an idea? The bar staff were very friendly, patient and courteous to all their patrons. I noticed there was a person in a wheelchair and throughout the night he could only hear the band. My advice next time if you are going to watch any band here, is be one of the first to arrive to get a good position.

I was very pleased tonight to find a yummy Haloumi, carrot, beetroot and orange salad on the menu- catering for those of us who are trying to cut carbs. Thank you

We celebrated my father's 80th birthday lunch on Sunday 24th March 2024. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and well organised in managing such a large group as well as a full restaurant. The food was great, serves were generous and the meals came out in a timely manner. Thank you for helping to make my father's birthday so special. Yvette and Geoff Miller

Food was delicious, loved the mac and cheese balls. Great portion sizes, and all food arrived quickly. Lovely service too!

Husband, son and I went to Mount Henry Tavern in the evening to watch a T20 cricket game, so we were there for a few hours. It was comfortable seating and atmosphere.
Service was lovely. Generous portions for food. I had the entree lemon pepper calamari which I found very filling - there is an option to add chips. Cooked nicely with light crispy batter. My husband couldn't finish his nasi goreng. My son had the kid's cheeseburger - the chef happily added salad to the burger and still included a generous portion of chips. My son got 2 scoops of ice cream (in a waffle cone) - an extra 1 scoop. Very good value for a kid's meal!

Vegetarian Risotto was delicious!!
I’m not a vegetarian but this dish was fantastic. Chips and Mac n Cheese balls were really good too.

Another fantastic birthday celebrated here. Excellent pleasant staff, great choice of food, well presented and tasty. Sorry to see it may be demolished for apartments

We recently celebrated my Mums 80th birthday at Mt Henry for lunch we had beautiful food, excellent service the staff and venue were able to cater for all our needs. Thank you Tiahrne and all the other wait staff you were amazing!!

Always a great night for dinner- dietary requirements easily complied with, very good food and service from the ladies and good fun with the locals Noisy but that's how it should be), large portions (we took surplus home for lunch!)

The beef special last night was the best beef we have ever eaten.
The staff were their usual friendly and helpful. The inside was clean welcoming and friendly. Can't work out why it is not always full.
Maybe the outside isn't as welcoming and a bit scruffy but inside is a good place to go with family friends or just for a coffee and cake.

Food was *5 star i had a steak sandwich + beef cheeck nice and tender!! SERVICE WAS not that great we were told kitchen opens at 5pm then some one else said 5:30pm???

Food is amazing, so are the sweet cocktails. Very family friendly. Few places to sit for those of us who get distracted by being able to see a TV though (seriously would appreciate venues setting aside at least a corner for those of us with sensory challenges - at least one spot with soundproofing instead of TVs where the music is quieter etc.)

Just loved the Roast Beef with everything . Beautiful meal my friend had the Roast Lamb. He loved it.Hubby had the Nasi Goreng, he loved his meal. We know it's up for sale but PLEASE don't lose the Tavern.One of our favorite places to go for a great meal.Highly recommend it.
