At Tempest there is always a very friendly and professional service for all things musical. The staff have a very detailed knowledge of musical instruments and the associated requirements for service and repair of the instruments.

Great service, very friendly and knowlegable staff. I got an evaluation of a second hand saxophone I just bought. The young woman I talked to played the saxophone herself and could give me detailed information on the different parts, and what needed to be serviced and replaced. She gave me great advice on how to best look after the saxophone. Would highly recommend

Friendly, helpful staff. No drums in stock, but they can order in. Good selection of strings, woods and brass. Some fun ukuleles too.

I'm very impressed with the customer service at Tempest. I considered buying online due to convenience, however, I always like to support small businesses. I requested two Satie books for piano, and they said they'd have to order them in for me. However, the worker suggested an alternative Satie book which included many more of his pieces. I bought that book, and I've been delighted with what I've found that I otherwise would have gone without. Thank you very much; once I decide on the next pieces I'd like to learn, I'll be back.

We were very happy with our experience at Tempest Music today. Went in looking to purchase a trumpet for our daughter. She was able to try a range of instruments in our price range (with a good description of the differences between each model), and choose the best for her. In addition we also purchased a new mouthpiece. They also provided us with very useful tips on how to care for the instrument. Very happy with the service we received, and to have our needs heard after a lesser experience at another Perth music store. Will definitely return for after sales service in the future. One very happy daughter now.

Just bought my son's first full size cello from Tempest Music. Alex was an excellent source of information and guidance and all the other staff where really friendly. They really appreciated the fact that this was a big deal for us so time and a couple of visits were needed to make the purchase. We are very happy with the end result and would recommend them to friends and family

I went to tempest after a particularly poor experience with another music store in Perth. I called the previous day to make sure they had what I wanted. Viola! Courteous and oh so helpful. I knew nothing about the instrument I was renting and needed it quick. They quickly and accurately assessed my needs and provided me with an instrument that is absolutely beautiful. This was almost 6 months ago. Since then I‘ve been back a few times for various bits and pieces. I love the fact that they will give you a choice for your budget and an honest pros and cons talk about each. Has always been easy to decide what I want to buy.
They are just a very helpful and knowledgable bunch!

Tempest is one of loveliest places in Perth to shop all things music. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, the ambiance is comfortingly calm, they stock a wonderful selection of books, musical instruments and gifts. If you're a musician you'll love the shop and if you're not yet a musician, it will make you want to be one!

What and amazing store. The people serving are real musicians and very friendly and knowledgeable. It was such a delight to find this place and be able to get exactly what I wanted from people who knew what I was talking about. I will definitely be shopping here in future.

Staff are super helpful and a great range for all of your musical needs. If they don't have it they can order it in. I also love their collection of giftware- the scarves are beautiful.
