Greedy Gecko Hallet Cove

Very frustrated with the shocking lack of communication from this company. I had a booking for today. Due to the massive storms we have been experiencing over the past few days, I rung yesterday to find out if we should reschedule the appointment. I was told they will be checking the weather radars to assess the rain in the morning, and I’d receive a message this morning around 08:30 if they needed to cancel. After I received no message this morning I went ahead and prepped my house for the appointment, moving every item of furniture to the middle of each room and sweeping outside.

My appointment was scheduled for 11-13:00. At 12:00 I rang in to get an idea of when to expect the service to arrive only to be told that my appointment had been canceled due to the weather, and the guy who was meant to come must have forgotten to let me know.
This is mega annoying considering I rung yesterday for this exact reason only to be totally let down.
The guy who passed on the news on the phone hardly seemed sincere in his apology and was quite grumpy about the whole ordeal. I’m Left feeling exhausted after hauling all my furniture away from the walls for no reason at all, dissatisfied in their customer service and hardly hopeful for the rescheduled appointment. Pity.
