Princess Royal Fortress Military Museum

A fantastic and interesting place to visit our tour was very, very good, had a really good guide who knew the place very well. The Anzac experience was exceptional. Very good value, great and friendly staff and volunteers. The views were amazing.

The fact that the AA Bofors gun could still rotate added an unexpected interactive element to our experience. We had a fantastic time manning the gun and searching for imaginary targets. A unique and enjoyable outing for history enthusiasts and families alike.

Very interesting. Close up view of military weapons. The turret was enormous. Views are great as well. The other museums across the road are also interesting.

A must see if visiting Albany. The history here is unbelievable. Displays and memorilbilia are incredible. Dont forget to do the walk, taking in the gun turrets, tunnels, observation posts, etc. We didn't realise how far down our coastline the war affected our Country.

Part of the experience going to the ANZAC museum is to experience the Princess Royal Fortress. The tour, the view and relics of past military defences is truly awesome.

As a military veteran, the visit was an eye opener to the Australian military history! Drove up an hour before closing and had the place almost to ourselves.

Visited Princess Royal Fortress on Mt Adelaide. The area and the lookout were freshened and upgraded when the National ANZAC Centre was built. There is no entry fee to the Fortress area - only the ANZAC Centre.

Wonderful place and well worth visiting. History, National ANZAC Centre, restaurants, exhibits, walk trails, lookouts, memorabilia, etc etc, this place has something for everyone.

I enjoyed thr place. Remembering my grandpa's storytelling time... He was with the US Navy...

If you are a historical/ weapon fans this is a must visit while in Albany.

Cool guns for kids and adults to test out and grab a pic. Bunker is also fun and informative. Walk to the top of the hill to get a great view out to the ocean and towards oyster harbour 👍

When in Albany, you must visit the National ANZAC Centre at the Princess Royal fortress.
