Took Bae Kee Restaurant

Took Bae Kee is a Korean food institution. I can't say too much about their much improved atmosphere today. But I still remember fondly the past! it was a dingy small restaurant on Pier St Perth which spectacular Korean food and filled with Koreans! I especially love the pancakes.l and the spicy pork Dolsot or Bugolgi BBQ. Yummy!

Have been here many times in the past year.. and nevrr once disappointed..
the food is freshly cooked, served hot, and is absolutely tasty.
the staff are pleasant and polite, and service is good.
Location is very convenient and please be mindful that the nearest car park might be a 5-10 min walk away.

I had tofu BBQ and my wife had seafood BBQ. Both soy sauce, not spicy versions.
Also we ordered chicken wings with chips, the original.
Everything was great. Good price, good portions, amazing taste.

My favourite Korean restauarant in perth city CBD, always the top list of Korean restauarant to go to. Really good foods. Love their pork belly soup. So many good foods like seafood pancake and stir fry chicken! Love it!

The food was delicious and the prices were good. The portions were very decent considering they came with side dishes. The only thing is the staff barely said a word, no greeting, no goodbye. I had the beef short rib soup (no knife needed, need I say more), soup was delicious and light, not greasy at all.

We got the Spicy Chicken Stew and Kimchi Stew: both were really good, warm and flavourful - the spice was a good amount too! Also got the Spicy Beef Bulgogi which had a generous portion. Overall a great experience and would recommend this place!

Wow wow wow. This place has easily become my top favourite in Perth. The beef bibimbap and cheese chicken was really good and I want to go back again. Amazing food! The prices were also reasonable.

Nice little Korean restaurant just off Barrack and Wellington. The menu covers most Korean staples one would expect. The ttbookki (spicy rice cakes) was outstanding , with just enough chilli to clear the sinuses. The staff were friendly and very helpful

Went here yesterday with hubby and friend, the attendants were accommodating and attentive. Place is very casual and laid back. Food is yummy, I tried the beef bbq and easily inhaled it. My hubby had the spicy shrimp bibimbap. This place must be added to your bucket list.

What a find in the city! Such a wide range of authentic Korean dishes and at reasonable prices. Service was keen, prompt and personal. Food was delish and I'll be back to try others! It's pack quite quickly at meal times so go early!

Always love this place. It’s on of our reason why we go city now a days. If one thing i would add is wish the spicy foods could have a lil more spicy kick to it.

Absolute favourite in the city Kimchi pancake is a must. The new location is roughly twice the size of the original restaurant. As others have said the menu hasn't changed, you can however order a beer now which is really nice.

Great korean restaurant. Family really enjoy the food. Very mildly priced. Can't complain. Foods are averagely presented, but the tastes were great. Clean toilet. Only concerns are the kitchen area was too exposed for the customer, afraid that my children be easily enter.

This is my go-to restaurant. Whenever I am craving for kimchi fried rice. The food here is to die for. The price of all food items are reasonable.

Very good authentic Korean food. Forgot to take photo of Spicy Seafood Soup, but was excellent! Went at 3.30pm Wednesday, 20-30min wait time.

I only been there a few times, but it definitely stands out, the food and the services were very good I really enjoyed the soup, we were served fairly quickly, and the people were friendly. definitely worth a try.
