Handasydes - Cafe, Strawberry Farm & Play Area

One of our favourite places in Albany! So great for the kids to have a rustic playground & space to run around. The quality of the food there is amazing & such great value. Definitely recommend it to everyone

Unplanned visit while travelling to Albany. If u r up for desserts and simple pastries they are here. I wish they are more heavier menus for lunch though. The service was pleasant. Kids gonna have a great time here as there is a small playground here. U guys gotta try the strawberry gelato. It felt so sincerely made, u can taste the strawberry seeds with every bite. Busy Cafe with lots of parking, and play area for children. Love the breakfast waffle, blueberry bagel and raspberry ripple gelato ice-cream. The strawberry theme is definitely strong with a good range of pastries and ice-cream. There's additional freeze-dried strawberry packs and gourmet jam sold too. I went away with 1kg of grade 1 strawberries, let's see how it last for.

Friendly, busy environment. Good selection of foods. Delicious fruit & icecream (grown/made onsite). We visit regularly. It can be a bit of a challenge to find an available table (reservations available - recommended for groups).

Absolutely love hosting our business networking meetings at Handasydes! Lyn is a great host and we love the food here :) also don’t look past the value of Boris and Beanie. Great location for Parents :)

An afternoon visit to Handaysdes, I was quite impressed with the coffee and the food I had was very nice. I had the waffle with strawberries and cream, it was really good. Staff were helpful but unsmiling and looked bored or tired. Nice place, big venue, great food.

Had the Farmers High Tea for two which was filling, tasty and great value. Highly recommend this place.

This place came highly recommended & we visited 3 times whilst on holidays. What a great spot. Friendly staff, good coffee & great food, delicious gelato. They sell a wide array of sweet goodies & gelato & of course fresh strawberries. Great playground for kids, gorgeous animals to see. The marshmallow that comes with Hot Choccie is so good, Homemade & not too sweet with the texture of pavlova.
Highly Recommend.

Handasydes Strawberries Café are amazing. So many gluten free choices available in a separate fridge. Menu items are mostly able to be adapted to gluten free in a cleaned prep area. I had the deliciously light strawberries and cream sponge cake. One happy Coeliac!

Had a great afternoon picking strawberries for $25 a box. Was nice to be able to eat the berries as we picked them. It's cheaper to buy the strawberries from inside the Cafe but you don't get the experience of picking them yourself. Had a decent coffee at the Cafe and a delicious piece of baked cheesecake. Scoops of icecream were reasonably priced.

What a hidden gem! Great atmosphere, absolutely best food ever, I had a keto platter and strawberry pancakes 😍

Lovely the freeze dried strawberries. Nice sculptures in the car park including Australian animals like emu and kangaroo.

Highly recommend. Food was brilliant. So filling and so much to choose from. Great area for kids to play. Will definitely be back !

Had come here seeing the good ratings expecting it to be a nice lunch, and boy were our expectations blown away! This was one of the best meals I've had in a long time - all the meals were fresh, well balanced and delicious. I was especially happy with the bagel as they can often be dry and tasteless, but, it was amazing. Lovely location and atmosphere - Really cannot describe how delicious EVERYTHING was - I would highly highly recommend!

Very flexible with dietary requirements and very yummy food. These guys also make the BEST SORBET IN THE WORLD. Seriously, it is the best, and I have eaten a lot of sorbet. The Gelato is extremely good too apparently but I can't eat that (dairy).

The toasted sandwich absolutely wonderful, the best toasted sandwich I have experienced in my 45 years of hospitality. I was asked if I wanted a dairy free butter which it was toasted.
I encourage everyone you must try this wonderful tourism treat.

I ordered chicken and corn chowder with homemade bread. It was delicious and very filling. I couldn't fit in an icecream unfortunately.

Amazing food, ice cream, sorbet, everything is natural. Best brownies we ever had... EVER!
Strawberry float was amazing too. Nougats are a must but too.

This place has some absolutely awesome food/drinks.

The waffles and strawberry smoothie are very nice.

You can also buy fresh strawberries of varying quality (higher quality is more expensive)
