Irwin River Lookout

Great view over the beach. A staircase leads to the viewpoint and there are two tables with benches under a roof. Perfect for a snack.

Awesome lookout. Can see the mouth of the river and it over looked trees which were filled with black winged stilts. We didn’t do the walks as we’re short on time but they looked good.

Lookout gives a good view of the river and ocean. Some birdlife, but the river looks salty and algae affected. Don't recommend swimming.

Had a wonderful hike up the lookout looking at the beautiful scenery and watching the birds in the surrounding area were so beautiful

A nice place to enjoy the top view of river. The walk trail could be an experience but didn’t have that time to give. But next time will definitely walk through at least at the bottom of the stairs. Thank you.

Awesome view of river from the lookout. we're here at early in the morning like 7am. We went down for walk. I had a stroller to push so we use the walking trail👣 not the steps. Nice walking by the river..

A lovely lookout with stairs down to the estuary and boardwalk, well worth a visit!

Not to be missed when in donagara port denison. So peaceful and amazing walk. And many birds.

Very informative stop on the lookout walking trail through Dongara and Port Dennison.

Great spot to stop for lunch! Nice shady area, great views over the Irwin river, and a variety of lengths of walks available. There is also a water drinking fountain available if you need a drink of refill your water bottles.

Good veiw

Well worth a detour into Dongara. See the river and the ocean waves. An interpretive plaque points out places of historic significance that are visible from the lookout. An enjoyable little stop.

This is a wonderful stop. You can also take a beautiful walk along the river to the ocean. Don't miss it
