Had an issue with downloading apps from the Web, Microsoft was blocking the downloads. Had a nice guy help fix the issue, explained every thing well. Great job done and good experience, thank you Phoenix IT.

Had a problem charging my Surface Pro 6. I thought I needed a whole new port. They looked at the laptop. Charged it and problem solved it. I didn't need a new port. Didn't charge me, it was just a poor contact with the cord. Very helpful and didn't charge me unnecessarily. Much appreciated it. Thank you Phoenix IT.

Disappointed with outcome. Went in requesting additional RAM (accepting that I have no idea what I'm talking about). Advised that getting rid of unnecessary programmes running in the background should solve performance problems. Went with their advice. $120 later no improvement at all. Nice bloke that I dealt with, not questioning that they did the work they charged for, but no benefit for my money. Hopefully, I'm the exception.

Thanks for the reply, albeit some 2 months down the track. I would have been quite happy with a phone call, but since you have chosen to make this a public discussion, please do let us clarify.

Yes, my computer was was running slow & sluggish and it was actually my Accountant (who recommended you) who suggested I probably just needed a RAM upgrade. This is what I told your technician. I am not tech savvy and am happy to be directed by those who know. I am not price driven, I am outcome driven. Had your technician recommended 'whatever' (upgrade/new hard drive/ new system) I would have happily gone along with it. This didn't happen, it was your technician who suggested that closing down stuff running in the background may solve the problem. At what point was I advised to upgrade hardware components or the laptop?

I have no issue with you or your company, it's just that the money I spent achieved no discernible positive outcome. Honestly, I had written it off to experience and had forgotten about it. I'm not sure why, so long after the event, you felt a need to bring it up.

If it means you sleep better at night, let's just accept that your technician gave excellent advice which I chose to ignore. As I said previously, I hope I am the exception and all your other customers receive excellent service and are smart enough to follow your advice.
