The best paninis we have ever had! Awesome coffee and hot chocolate too. Perfect stop off during a road trip... they do cakes and ice cream too. We even made an excuse to go twice 🤩

Lovely cafe in the shade of big fig trees and set in a little old Church building. Definitely a place to revisit. They make fresh fruit juices too.

Lovely little cafe housed in a heritage listed district roads building. Simple menu with panini’s and some sweet treats but all done well. Coffee was great using Yahava beans at the time. Our last stop before the drive back to Perth and glad it was here.

We were visiting from the UK. Found this lovely coffee shop with amazing cakes. The service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely worth a visit.

Fabulous space.

Barista and assumed owner was very competent, friendly and had great banter.

My partner was blown away by the pepper steak panini. I enjoyed my ham and cheese panini. The sides with it were also very worth it (Doritos! So smart and simple!) It was a touch pricey but the quality was reflected - don't expect the Coles standard toasted Turkish !

Coffee delicious. Beautiful little space, indoor and outdoor, at dawn when we got there (thankyou for fuelling us and being open at that time!)

Poppies Cafe .. what a magic place this historic little building in Dongara is a must do to visit the food is delicious beautiful presentation and good coffee and to top of the experience the service is so friendly .

A lovely cosy little cafe. Toasted panini was indeed very tasty and filling. Portuguese egg tart was very chewy, but very delicious custard filling! The whipped cream with strawberries and bits of pomegranate on the side was a lovely touch. Next time we'll try the coffee :)

This little gem is in Dongara situatedin a historicalbuilding circa 1910. Delicious paninis. Full of flavour and served with an interesting tasty salad. Coffee is great. We went back next day and chose a treat from the "Naughty Box" Yum.

Perfect spot to stop for coffee and pastry or panini. You can sit inside or out the front or in the park, and they have items like art for sale. Went about 830 on Tuesday and wasn’t too busy, staff were very friendly and good at their job. I had coffee and tart and couldn’t fault it. Highly recommend

Best paninis in the Midwest!!! Definitely recommend checking this place out for a coffee and lunch if you’re traveling through Dongara. They stock Yahava coffee and know how to make a great brew - perfect for long road trips :) definitely recommend trying out the chicken and sun-dried tomato panini - and no fear if you’re gluten intolerant as they have some very tasty gluten free bread (a rarity) too.

Mick is Running s very beautiful and relaxed cafe in an old brickstone building. Great coffees and food, fantastic staff and super atmosphere. Thank god there are people like him who make the world a good place! Awesome experience!!

Heading home south we stopped by for a refresher here on a Saturday arvo during the school holidays. This place is an absolute gem and would encourage everyone to take that short side trip into Dongara for a perfect coffee and sweet thing to eat

Super nice restored building and much area outside to relax with fantastic outdoor area with shade from the trees to sit at the nice lawns and enjoy the best coffee And fantastic food
Service and friendly staff always make you want to come back
