Junee Licorice & Chocolate Factory

If you are passing through Junee make sure you stop at the chocolate factory here for some delicious chocolates which will not disappoint you. I know I enjoyed the chocolate coated nuts 😁. But overall this place is great whether you want to just look how they make things, to stopping and enjoying their cafe to just buying chocolates. Absolutely love this place. We visited 2yrs ago and made it a, must stop this road trip past. kids enjoyed making their own feckle, beautiful old factory that also serves great coffee and the chocolates are amazing as well. Sadly their rocky road was Gluten free but they changed the recipe and now it's not, and it was the best rocky road I've ever tasted.

This place is amazing! The service and friendliness of the lovely lady in the licorace shop on Thursday 22/02/2024 in the afternoon was first class. Fabulous place to visit, see their working factory and taste their wares. Lovely cafe too.

The place is easy to find. Lots of shaded parking. The venue is goregous and recently renovated. The chocolate gift shop is also worth visiting.

The food was yummy and the chocolate was made infront of some massive glass walls. The other gift shop also has lots of trinkets in it

Lovely space to visit! Super different from when I was a kid and I must say, I’m a huge fan of the changes. I love that you can view how everything is made without paying. The cafe area and licorice shop were a beautiful layout and vibe as well as the upstairs homewares shop! Would definitely recommend the activities you can do within the factory!

We always make sure on our motorhome travels to drop in and stock up on licorice & chocolate as well as having breakfast or lunch. The atmosphere is fantastic with many different settings to sit and enjoy. Make sure that you check out the car 7 motorcycle museum across the way.

Junee Chocolate factory is definitely a must visit on the to do list. great place for the kids and family. the kids can pour their own chocolate freckles in the freckle hut.

they also have a classic car collection beside it (mainly Fords) and an old mower collection

Darling ambient space! Various indoor/outdoor areas. Love the old world charm n nostalgic vibe.
Note: Brekky closes off around 11-11.15 then lunch menu commences from 12. The cafe offers toasties and sweat treats.
Ordering a tad confusing if going to counter as no counter service in coffee/cafe area.
Could benefit from all day brekky and/or more options on lunch menu e.g wraps, quiche, fritattas and more vego options etc.

Cute view into the chocolate making in the side rooms, and some of the history of the place. Great selection of chocolate and licorice products. Loved that they had enough choice for those with dietary restrictions such asgluten-freee, nut free etc.
Stocked up on a bunch for snacks over the coming weeks/months.

We arrived at 11:30 for a culpa and something to eat before purchasing our chocolates. When my son and his partner from Townsville went to order, they were told they couldn't order food till 12.00 as they don't serve from 11:35 to 12:00 as they change over from breakfast menu to lunch menu. Are you serious. Yes, we had delicious coffee, and no, we did not go back and order food after our purchase from the chocolate shop.

Visited over the Easter weekend and it was quite busy. We didn’t do the tour, or eat at the restaurant, but food looked and smelt great. Got a coffee and dessert from the cafe which were both fantastic. Also loved the liquorice store and wish I stocked up on the raspberry bullets! YUM!
Would love to come back and try the food. Very nice atmosphere. Be mindful of the vehicle you drive in, as it’s loose gravel. Also found this cute friendly dog wondering around outside 🥰

Dropped into the Licorice & Chocolate Factory whilst visiting Junee. What a fabulous place. Great range of chocolates and licorice, but best of all... At a very reasonable price! Good service and a pleasant environment. I ended up buying a lot more than I'd originally intended, but well worth it.

Great morning out! Breakfast was so tasty and reasonably priced! We had the brekky burgers and my granddaughter had the pancakes and ice cream, everything was delicious! Being able to watch the production of the chocolates and licorice was amazing, definitely worth the visit.. Then we went through the Ford museum, very informative.. We would definitely return for another visit..

An old flour mill that has renovated to a high standard and would be fantastic for engagement or wedding venue. Great watching how they make the yummy chocolate and licorice. Staff also very friendly and helpful. We didn't get to eat there but would really like to next time we visit there.

Lucky I looked Junee up, was just travelling through and would have missed it. What a true gem. From the chocolate making tour to the amazing meals in the millroom & cafe and the shop the feel of the whole building is just so welcoming and comfortable, definitely a place to visit and spend soak in the aura

Bought my body weight in chocolate. Have a hot chocolate OMG soooooooo good.. the staff are super friendly. Willing to stop, speak and tell you anything you want to know about the factory and information about the process. Love love this place.

Licorice and chocolate were great. Staff where really good, especially Neil (hope we remembered his name right) taking me through the Corowa Whisky tasting, resulting in me leaving with 2 rather then 1 bottle today, appreciated his time and enthusiasm.
