Nice to visit on Mount Lofty Summit.

Free to visit. Parking (few minutes walk away) has a fee.

Flinders Column (16.5m tall) was built in honour of Matthew Flinders Commander of the Investigator who discovered and named Mount Lofty on Tuesday 23rd March 1802. It is located on Mount Lofty in the Adelaide Hills region at 727 meters above sea level.
