Mannum Mallee Tents

We enjoyed our stay very much, it was great to have the camping experience without the hassle of bringing everything ourselves and also the benefit of having a comfy bed to sleep in!

The hosts were really welcoming and everything was well prepared for our arrival, including wood for our outdoor camp fire.

These tents are quite spacious with standing room inside and are equipped with kettle and portable gas stove top inside and BBQ outside along with basic utensils and accessories. Hot shower was also provided at a small, reasonable additional cost, which was worth it.

We stayed in the high country tent with a view, and were able to easily walk the 2km to Murray River in the distance. The tents are spaced well apart allowing for a private, peaceful stay.

In summary, everything is as advertised on the website and very well set up. Bring your own food to cook on BBQ and you're all set.

Mannum Mallee Tents is a truly organic experience for the novice to experienced camper. A great introduction to camping, to a relaxed experience of having everything set up for you for you as ‘walk in walk out’ ready. Loved the close proximity to Mannum, yet felt the freedom of space and solitude of your own patch of mallee paradise. Hosts were amazing and eager to ensure our experience was nothing but the best. Can’t wait to return 😁⛺

We had a lovely time. The hosts are great communicators and it was a true glamping experience.

This is more a camping experience than a glamping experience.
I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Pros:
Owners were friendly.
Camp fire was set up for us. (Extra logs cost extra, doesn’t come with much originally)
There is a gas BBQ stove.
There is a portable toilet.

Cons:
There is no tap, so bring extra water yourself.

We booked for a shower but it wasn’t available, and wasn’t told till the day.

Communication wasn’t great.

No towels were provided, even if shower isn’t available towels would be nice, as it is also advertised on the website.

You have to pay extra for them to take you to the camp site if you don’t have a 4WD, which is fine. But you can only be picked up the next day at times that is convenient for the owners not when you’d like to leave in the morning.

Price isn’t cheap, more on the expensive side after all the extra add ons.
