What a brilliant holiday!! Traveling up and down the river on the houseboat “Whitewater”. This boat was absolutely amazing, the best we’ve ever been on. Total luxury, it had everything we needed and more. The upper deck, with the bar and heated spa was the best, great for cocktails and a soak. Individual ensuites for each bedroom and the most comfortable beds just topped it off. The boat was big but easy to drive and moor (after a few goes 😂). Thanks to Brendan, Madeleine and their team, they were friendly, professional and so helpful. And a special thanks for being dog friendly. We loved having the pups with us, they had a ball.

We just finished a week on Whitewater houseboat over Xmas. Brendan and Madeleine were excellent to deal with and their communication made for an easy booking. Murray was easy going and very informative on all things driving and mooring the houseboat. We had 2 families with 4 teenagers between us, so this boat was a great size. The 4 ensuites were a definite drawcard for us. The kitchen was well equipped with quality knives, scan pans and everything you might need and then some. We headed upstream from Mannum, and whilst the Xmas weather was not great, the huge spa on the top deck was our saviour. It was always warm enough, plus the added benefit you could set the temperature yourself. The teenagers loved it. Would have loved a balmy night to enjoy the upstairs bar, which was also well equipped. We towed our ski boat alongside, there’s also a great swim deck off the back. From the call to booking our holiday, to bringing the boat in at the end of a 7 night trip, the service was exceptional.

We took Dreamweaver out & what a delightful vessel with every convenience onboard.

It was explained to us, both before the test drive and park and before booking, that if the instructor felt we were unable to handle the boat then we would be parked up for the week. I admire the focus on safety as it’s not just about damaging the boat if a driver isn’t capable, there are other river users to be mindful of.

Murray gave good instructions, repeated the warnings about mooring hazards & checked to ensure I could manoeuvre the boat safely. He told us he was available day or night if we needed support, we did ask for advice on mooring during a windy day so he directed us to a calmer part of the river.

Everyone from Brendon during booking and paperwork, to the owner who needed to update a satellite system, & Murray were all patient & helpful, despite being busy.

I have enormous respect for the hazards in and around water, having managed a few confronting incidents where people have been seriously hurt out boating, and again I applaud this companies focus on safety as a priority.

I’m a huge wildlife fan and was not disappointed, we had many bird friends visit and saw an incredible array of water birds. Was an amazing trip on a beautiful part of the Murray and well worth the effort and cost - will certainly be back.

We had an amazing time on 'Whitewater' Houseboat. It was very luxurious with ensuite bathrooms in all 4 bedrooms and everything else you might need. Brendan & Madeline were great to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. Murray gave us a great handover and instruction on driving the houseboat. Our week on the river was so peaceful and relaxing and the scenery was beautiful.

White Houseboats is a well-oiled, well-run enterprise. From the get-go, Madeline was excellent with her communication and booking information. When we arrived, Brendan and Murray were super friendly and efficient in instructing us on how to drive and moor the houseboat each night. The adventure on a fully equipped and luxurious Dreamweaver houseboat began. We headed upstream from Mannum, encountering beautiful birdlife and such amazing scenery. Moorings were easy to find and even included hand-feeding a beautiful Cookaburra on our boat railings one evening. Dreamweaver was a relaxing trip that we will never forget and will definitely "Eat sleep and repeat." Thanks for a wonderful week. The Knights

Just finished our week on River Breez, return customers from White Water prior. Can't say enough about this business, the care they put into process of hiring the boat, very clean and tidy, and after returning today, their team of workers need a mention. Highly professional, straight into the clean on our return, cleaning every nook and cranny.

Being dog friendly is a huge bonus, the dogs love their time on board, very safe for them also with fully enclosed railing.

From kayaking in the lagoons to check out the birdlife, watching wombats and kangaroos precariously on the cliff tops with an early morning coffee, fishing, or relaxing with a coldie in the hot tub, it's a great experience. Plenty of down time to read and play games.

Highly recommended. It's the little things that are appreciated, like the binoculars that we forgot.

We have just returned from a week aboard White Water. The boat was amazing, very well maintained, plenty of power and handled just as it should. (Something I can’t say about some previous boats we’ve hired from other companies)
The kitchen was very well appointed with everything you could possibly need and more. The BBQ was huge and really good quality which again was a nice surprise. The spa, again was huge.
Brendan and Murray were both fantastic and made everything simple.

Just spent a GREAT weekend on White Houseboats Riverbreez helping to rise up for the river! We could not fault the boat quality, fittings and supplies. Helpful and experienced staff. For first timers, we could have confidence that it would go well And it did!

Spent the long weekend on White Water Houseboat. It is a fabulous boat, superbly appointed, with everything you could possibly want onboard. Comfortable and spacious. The boat show out and driving tuition was excellent thanks to Murray. Contacting the owners Madeliene and Brendan was easy and their attention to our enquiry and booking was fantastic.

We had a lovely week long stay on “Dream Weaver”, over Christmas 2021. We went with our 3 boys & our eldest sons partner. The kayak hire is highly recommended, and we had lots of fun exploring the backwaters with them. Being dog friendly, we took our 9 year old heeler as well, making it truly a “family holiday”. A unique Christmas that we will never forget!

We had the opportunity of having a weekend away on absolute bliss 23rd to the 26th of Feb and I would like to start off by saying that even before we started boarding the houseboat we were greeted by the most friendliest and welcoming staff nothing was to much trouble. Everything was explained to us in a way that was easily understandable and easy to follow instructions also you are givena phone number incase anything should happen during your hire. All facilities were extremely clean. Our handover at the end of our weekend was just as easy and effortless. We would like to thank White houseboats for making our weekend on the river a relaxing one.

Fabulous week on the Murray with Whitewater Houseboats. Boat was great and Brendan and Murray wonderful to deal with. Brendan picked us up from and dropped us back to the airport and arranged visit one of the days to Henschke and Barossa for lunch. Highly recommend.

Our stay on the River Breez was both relaxing and luxurious, everything was spotless and all needs were catered for. This houseboat has been decked out for ease whilst taking in the beautiful views of the Murray River from anywhere in the boat, yes even from your bed. There was nothing they hadn't already thought of and we will be returning. Thank you to Brendan and Madeleine, they made every part from booking to returning pleasurable.

My family and I hired Absolute Bliss from White Houseboats for a week in late September 2022. We had an absolutely amazing time and can wholeheartedly recommend the experience to anyone thinking of exploring the Murray River by houseboat. Brendan and Madeleine are very helpful and friendly hosts which made planning for the trip a breeze. Brendan picked us up in Adelaide and transported us to Mannum via a supermarket stop for provisions which was very convenient, definitely recommended and good value compared with trying to do the road trip by taxi or rental car. This was our first houseboat experience and it definitely exceeded our expectations. Absolute Bliss was very well appointed with all the modern conveniences and comfort features you could wish for. Our hire commenced and finished at Mannum Waters Marina where White Houseboats are based and during the week we made it as far upstream as Swan Reach. This section of the Murray River turned out to be a fantastic choice for house boating, the scenery is spectacular and we really enjoyed the plentiful wildlife. We also found it easy to plan our time and very relaxing with just a few hours of motoring each day and then finding a nice river bank spot to moor for the night. Awesome holiday, we’ll be back! It was our first time hiring a house boat. Upon arriving at the marina we were greeted by Brendan. We boarded the beautiful Dreamweaver. Murray was very informative. He went through everything we needed to know on how to drive and moor the houseboat safely. Its was just stunning, cruising up the Murray. Very relaxing, chilling in the spa, the kids kayaking on the river. It made it the perfect getaway for the weekend. We will definitely be back. Thank you Brendan & Madeline

We took my Parents (aged 87 and 92) for a week's holiday on Dream Weaver in Oct 2022. What an immaculate, well serviced, spacious and well appointed houseboat. We've been on a few houseboat holidays but this was truly luxurious! Brendan, Madeleine, Murray and the fabulous cleaning crew were outstanding. Will definitely book again next year.

We hired the River Breeze as a party of five (four adults and a Dachshund) over three nights and can highly recommend the experience.
The houseboat itself was very well appointed with everything needed for an enjoyable and comfortable holiday. All furnishings are modern and comfortable with en-suite bathrooms, upper-deck spa bath and satellite television.
The kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance you could possibly need, including a dishwasher.
The staff were very friendly and made sure to give us a great run-through on all of the necessary information to be fully comfortable driving , parking and mooring such a large houseboat.
A great holiday for relaxing and doing things at your own pace.

A wonderful 4 night trip from Mannum to Walker Flat and return. Heaps of interesting sights and can't believe the water levels in the flood of 2023! Great fun and found Brendon and Murray to be top blokes.
