The perfect evening spent cruising the river. Big thanks to Chad (skipper), Missy and Sam for such an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

Very informative, Captain Max is a great local character with a wealth of knowledge.
The crew, Sam, is very friendly and it's a relaxing cruise, although the birds weren't that cooperative when it came to feeding them, they buzzed around the boat as Sam fed them.

There can’t be many better places to embark on a trip along the Murray River than Murray Bridge.

On a lazy cruise you can appreciate the big skies and full grandeur of the Murray’s lower reaches, as well as the raw natural scenery on the banks.

The local operator is Captain Proud Paddle Boat Cruises, which has a period-style vessel with a fully-stocked bar, departing seven days a week from the Main Wharf.

There’s a whole range of packages to choose from, including breakfast, lunch, dinner or live music cruises, or special discounted trips on “Cheap Tuesday”. Most trips set a course for the stretch around Mannum, where the river is lined with sensational golden cliffs.

There will be an informative commentary and if you want you can find out what it’s like to steer a paddle boat.

We took a leisurely start to the morning by embarking on a 1.5 tour along the Murray River. Chad kept us well informed and educated on everything from the native flora and fauna to the latest developments happening on the Murray. We were served lovely homemade muffins and cookies (baked by Chad's wife) and tea and coffee.

Absolutely amazing experience. Would recommend Four Knots to anyone thinking of renting a houseboat. It's a lot easier than you think.

Great choice for my intergenerational 60th birthday celebration just last week. The adult children, grandchildren and now 'us seniors' enjoyed a very informative and pleasant evening on the river. Thoroughly enjoyed our 1.5 hr cruise with you guys on the 12th Feb We had friends with us visiting from the UK and all had a great time listening to Chad sharing his vast knowledge of the birds and feeding the kites. Cuppa and a gorgeous muffin was an added treat whilst relaxing on this great boat. Thank you both we will definitely be back.

Had an absolute blast with Chad. We had a small group and he was very accommodating. Even picked us up from our river front shack. Such a lovely night! Would recommend!

It was just beautiful. Old fashioned and very comfortable cruiser fully enclosed with huge windows so nice and cosy. Skipper super knowledgeable about Murray River flora and fauna. If you love birds like me you will be VERY happy. Charcuterie platter was lovely (need more crackers LOL). Fabulous and great value for money. Highly recommended.

Fantastic cruise along the Murray at sunset. Chad and staff were friendly and informative. Cheese platter was delicious and the birdlife was amazing, loved been able to witness the whistling kites feeding.

House boats everywhere and a bit dull and boring. House boat cruise to pay and go on I never did.
